Island hoods like this vent the smoke through the ceiling so make sure to have good ductwork in your ceiling so the smoke can go out faster. A lot of friends we’re asking if higher airflow is better in purchasing hoods like this, but it’s not always the case, it may vent faster but if the hood capture all the smoke properly, it will not be so efficient in venting all the smoke. Good thing this hood is wide enough to accommodate most burners and ranges for a better smoke capture.

This hood looks awesome and works well. Love the lights and fan speed modes. Has buttons on both sides which is nice
