I absolutely love the ZAGG Rugged Book Wireless Keyboard & Detachable Case for Apple iPad!!! The screen can be set at any angel. The backlit keyboards are so easy to use. The case is very protective of the iPad. There is no better case for the iPad Pro!

I am loving this keyboard case for my iPad Air 4th generation! It is a bit heavy but not a deal breaker. I like the apple pencil holder on the top. One feature I really wanted and this case has is the ability is to take the iPad case out of the keyboard case so it is separate. I would buy this again even though it is a bit pricey.

I bought two Zagg keyboards. I sent this one back because the opening and closing was exceptionally firm and I felt it would damage the iPad. I kept the Zagg ProKeys and it has been great.

Device was unassigned until Friday. Opened the ZAGG box to find that the charging cable had been removed! (slight tear in the compartment where cable normally resides) Unfortunately, my return window had expired.
Since device wasn’t assigned until Friday, the jury is still out on performance.

The keys are farther spaced out than I am used to (previously used folio keyboard case, but dog ran across keyboard and broke keys) but I’ve adjusted for the most part. It’s exceptionally durable and has given me peace of mind when I’m doing schoolwork and the dogs get rowdy nearby. Very heavy duty and has held up really nicely.

This is not such a great case. It is rather solid and will probably withstand a fall but the keyboard is the worst I’ve ever had. I would expect the keyboard to turn on automatically when opening the case or turning on the ipad but no. I’d have to tap the keys 3-4 times before typing. If I forgot then my typing would be missing letters on the first words. Also the keys made so much noise when typing. Very clunky. Definitely couldn’t type in a quiet place like a class or a library.

Purchased for my ipad air 5th generation to protect against falls. The upper left corner of the keyboard did not come down enough to cover the front edge of the ipad. The hinge kept locking up. When I finally managed to close it the top portion that holds the ipad disengaged from the keyboard. Needless to say, I had to return it. It appeared to have been previously purchased and returned. Very disappointed!! I went through several Zagg rugged wireless keyboards for my Ipad air 2 until I found one that actually works and didnt lock ip or fall apart

Its great when its working. I’ve bought 5 of these and 2 did not work correctly out of the box. The first unit had the top half of the keyboard not working. The next unit had just a few keys that did not work.

Yes it’s the most protective item for your kids iPad, but… it always breaks. I have a son that is 5 years apart from the other son. They both needed something like this when they got to the year in school where they used iPads. Each of theirs broke. My most recent purchase, his broke in a month. By broke I mean the plastic is so tough that it doesn’t bend well at the hinges. What you have to decide is, do you want the protection? Or do you want a keyboard that stays attached to the iPad. We were going to exchange it but there’s no other product that is as rugged and will protect an iPad in a 12 yr olds backpack. So we chose to keep it because of the protection that it offers. If you need the protection there’s nothing else out there that will protect your product. If you’re an adult, I would choose something else.

Absolutely love this keyboard. However, I’ve had since December 15 2022, it is now May 8 2023 and it will no longer close. The hinges have gotten so hard the iPad just comes out of the holder.

I use my iPad daily. This provides excellent protection, however the spine has started cracking after 11 months. It has never been dropped or treated roughly. My prior Zagg keyboard lasted 8 years with no issues, so I’m a bit disappointed.
