Best Buy had this receiver on sale so I decided to buy it because I wanted to upgrade my 15 year old Sony. The reason I wanted to upgrade was to add Bluetooth connectivity and USB options, what I didn’t expect is how much BETTER this receiver sounds than the Sony, it sounds fantastic! I highly recommend, and will likely upgrade my Onkyo AV system to a Yamaha soon! I love it!

This is a great receiver for the price. Set-up was easy, including Bluetooth connection to my phone. I appreciate the dedicated 3.5mm jack on the front for connecting to sources like an Amazon Echo for streaming audio, which many higher-end receivers do not have.

Fantastic sound for whatever I am listening to. Had a sound bar before but with this array of speakers there is so much more depth to the audio. There are times I forget I am watching TV and I think there is something going on out front or next door. Great experience. It’s just a bit difficult to connect speaker wires – would be a breeze with banana plugs.

It’s really amazing product. I have an old Projector system and don’t have wired speakers. I connected Bluetooth speakers with this receiver and HDMI cable with Projector. Now I can connect any device (with HDMI) and it works fantastic.

This Yamaha receiver replaced a 20 year old Onkyo receiver. This is not the top of the line by any means, but it works great and has a lot of updated features. Have a turntable and sub woofer hooked up to it and the sound is very good. The radio tuner/antenna are fantastic on this which was a definite plus.
