Audiophilejack –
Being an audiophile for 25 + years and having spent more than $30k over fancy amp + Pre amp / receiver combos ( NAD, Rotel etc.) which kinda conk off after a few years , i can say that this unit is unbelievably good ! Just wow . Powering my b & w cdm7 speakers with aplomb . I actually feel so stupid now but glad that i bought this receiver .

Great upgrade from old 1994 model. Great upgrade from old 1994 model.
AlvySinger –
Just what I wanted, no muss, no fuss, good sounding stereo receiver.
Michael –
Inexpensive receiver for basic stereo setup, paired with Altec Lansing speakers. The sound is much better for listening to music than my surround sound system. Glad I purchased this Yamaha receiver at Best Buy.
Rspeedy –
Gets great sound for the cost , couldn’t ask for more for the cost
GordonC –
Great basic receiver. Have not used much but so far it’s great. I use it for my pool speakers on Bluetooth. My theater receiver is Yamaha and love it
VicK –
Bought this receiver to replace one we had in our garage. It has A&B, connects via Bluetooth to your phone. Works perfect for what we needed and at an awesome price. We also have the Yamaha outdoor speakers we use with the receiver.
BrianS –
Very affordable stereo with bluetooth. Easy to set up and use
KennyKen –
Great receiver for the price. Bluetooth is a bonus. Using mine primarily to amplify subwoofers.
Satisfied –
Just right gor what I needed, outside unit for patio.

Very easy to set up and it sounds great. I have it hooked up to a vintage pair of speakers and couldn’t be happier.

Never dreamed, we would find an amplifier for our very old stereo. But there it was on the shelf at Best Buy, brought it home, hooked it up, works perfectly—-oh so happy.

Love this receiver. Bought it to replace my old one and glad I did.
CristinaG –
Really do love the sound. Only ragret is not getting an amplifier to go along with it. But, overall, great addition.

I use this for my outdoor bar and speakers. Works fantastic.
JonG –
Love the product. Customer service sucks though…
Awesomesound –
Very Awesome Receiver I got it because it has Bluetooth great sound
MarkC –
I’m really liking this stereo. I have a more expensive “home theater” stereo and it’s too complicated. This stereo is meant to jam music and that’s what it does. It’s prettt powerful for the price. I really like it.
Busaboy66 –
Great value! Clean crisp sound, great price, very easy to use and setup
GayleM –

I bought this Yamaha receiver (model # R-S202BL) based on the reviews of others using Cerwin Vega speakers, since I have CV speakers too. I had originally purchased the Sony 100w/2ch receiver and was disappointed in the lack of power to my Cerwin Vega speakers, so I returned it and bought the Yamaha receiver. This Yamaha receiver is rated the same as the Sony @ 100w per channel, but this Yamaha sounds a lot more powerful and easily drives my speakers, with plenty of powerful sounding volume that can reach beyond 100db. For the price, this Yamaha is a great buy over the Sony I returned (for less) and I am glad I trusted the reviews from other buyers. This receiver can deliver the goods!!!!!

I loved the reception and the easy setup. I also enjoy the Bluetooth options
KevinM –

Excellent connectivity and is the heart of my studio set-up.
DaveH –

MommaD –
Really nice product and shipping was really quick.
PatrickC –
Excellent clean sound, easy set up. Great features, Bluetooth easy to pair.
RonR –
my old receiver was more than thirty years old still works but not with my new cd player
Papa –
Not enough power. Outclassed by a $50 vintage Onkyo power amp, and a class D $100 amp.
Bev1 –
No HDMI hook up. Can’t use to play my TV since the TV doesn’t have bluetooth option.
Slick –
Nice receiver but i thought it would have a little more umph to it. it seems my old keenwood wasnt so bad after all
user821696 –
Great sound. Easy setup. No need for a tv or anything. Run with phone
Kenl –
The Yamaha 200 2-channel receiver performs great, it has both am/fm channels, which was what I needed.
user406598 –
Good sound. Easy to setup. I miss the ‘Balance’ knob that used to always be there in the past.
JosephP –
The stereo works as it should. One thing I like about it l, is it has AM radio.
AlanlR –
great product..no complaints………………….
RobertM –
It was a great buy and works perfectly I’m old school music listener and love the Bluetooth
ThomasS –
Great throw back receiver with plenty of power for a small to mid sized room. Full function remote control and bass and treble adjustments.
I deducted one star for the small speaker connectors and no subwoofer pre-out. This is being picky considering the price but the speaker terminals would only support the thinnest gauge wires.
JACKSU –
Easy to get connected and set up with my turntable. Also really like the bluetooth functionality; connecting is pretty simple and it stays connected well. Sounds great with my 100W speakers. For the price and what I needed it for — basically just my turntable and bluetooth — it works great. Hard to beat the price too.
BrianL –
Great product for the price. Just wanted to connect built in house speakers to TV.
RobertOA –
Title says it all: doesn’t work with record players without a built-in preamp. A separate phono stage couldn’t save this receiver, therefore save your money for a receiver that has a dedicated phono input
