    I have this in my guest bedroom. The sound quality is fairly decent. I cannot get it to connect for my universal remote to control it.

    Could not connect soundbar to T. V. even with Geek Squad assistance. Bar works with Bluetooth but I have Sonos speakers for music. 1 year old TV and new soundbar should be an easy setup. Neither hdmi nor optical cable worked.

Absolutely the best way to go this Yamaha has a built-in subwoofer that has it’s own volume WOW! High quality sound an base.Im a big fan of High-quality sound and I’m absolutely blow away on the functional options this Yamaha sound bar has so don’t pass up on one of these.

    This is a nice speaker, but it doesn’t let you know when its on or off. And the sound goes up instead of facing you, so you have to put it where you can hear it.

    Sounds good, but it’s a basic sound bar, so if you enjoy quality sound, this may not be for you. YOu get what you pay for in that regard.

    For us, it’s just a bedroom addition for better sound projection that from the TV, so it serves our purpose.

    This was a great pick up for my dual pc setup. The soundbar has two optical outputs with makes it great to switch back and forth between to PCs.

    I bought this for my 96 year-old mother to go with her 40 inch Samsung Series 5 HDTV. She has a pretty severe hearing deficit but the Yamaha is up to the task of delivering plenty of very clean and crisp audio so that she can hear her programs. I chose to connect it through the HDMI ARC port and her cable remote synched up with it perfectly so only one remote is needed for her cable box, TV, and the soundbar. This soundbar delivers plenty of clean and well balanced room-filling audio.

    After vowing never to buy another Samsung product again, I turned elsewhere. Yamaha has rooted history in all things sound and it shows with this product. It’s a great value anc gives a big sound – perfect for the family room TV and easy to mount on wall brackets. Highly recommend

    I picked this up on a Black Friday deal ($130) after seeing reviews here and on Reddit. I’m space constrained and wanted better sound than the TCL TV provided.

    I hooked it up over ARC-HDMI with little effort and was ready to go in 5 minutes. I can control the volume and on/off with the TCL/Roku remote.

    The sound quality meets my needs and then some. The sound synch is perfect.

    If anyone is looking for a decent sound bar for home office, this is a good deal.

    I needed a smaller sized soundbar to pair with a 24” TV in my home office, and this Yamaha 2.1. channel Soundbar is compact and is the perfect match. The sound is great – very clear. The built-in subwoofer provides adequate bass for a small to medium sized room, and definitely enhances the sound when watching movies and listening to music channels/apps. It also enhances voices when listening to dialogue, and has 4 listening modes to choose from. The soundbar also has Bluetooth connectivity. You can pair up to two devices and switch between the two. Pairing and switching is pretty simple to do.

    This is my first Yamaha product and I’m very satisfied with the purchase.

    Overall very good quality and value. Would recommend.

    Bought the Yamaha soundbar for a small TV in our exercise room. Sound quality is good and is definitely better than the TV speakers. This does not get very loud, which is ok in a smaller room but might be a concern in a larger room or one with other ambient noise.
    My other small issue with it is the remote only works the soundbar and I can’t pair my TV remote with it.

    A smaller soundbar with great sound that’s easy to wall mount under your TV to hide wires. The sound was surprisingly good with solid bass for a smaller unit. The remote allows you to pick several variations of sound for music and movies with voice enhancement for quiet movie dialog and you can also download an app to put the remote controls on your phone. There’s also a mounting templet for easy wall mounting. Great value for the money as well. Very happy with this soundbar!

    Sound bar works and sounds great bought open box went back price dropped $6.00 called about price match was told they couldn’t do it don’t know if I will buy from them again

    Compatible with LG OLED tv. It works well and was using the arc hdmi connection but then had to switch to optical connection – no fault of the soundbar. It’s nice and simple to use with real good sound output. I wish the remote was a bit more responsive – I tend to have to press the but hard and several times for it to react. I bought it when it was on sale for $50 off.
