makes a huge difference throughout our 1500 sq ft condo, even though we really only got it for the living room. had to avoid a window unit due to new WFH accomodations and it does not disappoint. *very* grateful for the wheels as it is a beast of a machine in terms of weight.

I’m loving this gem so far. Quick setup, looks great, and the dehumidifier option is helpful when looking at cooler temps.

Good performance. I searched a lot for the proper AC and this was almost good in every review out there. Happy with my purchase. It Came brand new (some say it was used, it was not in my case) and good packaging. The window mount is a little bit flimsy and bends out in my setup, but it works just fine. Get some sealer for your window for sure.

I should have checked the direction of where the cold air would come out – I had to add another attachment to position the cold air to push out facing towards anyone sitting down. I prefer the Honeywell portable AC which you can position the air flow

I love this unit. Definitely large enough for a decent-sized room. This is definitely one of the better machines. Don’t settle for a single hose unit.
The plastic window gap filler that the hoses go through leaves a lot to be desired. While a clever bit they don’t even come close to sealing up the gaps or fitting very well in vertical position for sideways sliding windows.
Also, the hose openings are fitted too close together. I get it that they want it to fit small windows too but its not good if the intake sucks in the exhaust. This will happen a little because screens block some of the airflow allowing crossover.
Hose attachment is a very poor design unless your goal is to make it never ever come back apart. I can think of so many ways that hoses could have been attached better. Someone was asleep at the wheel when they designed that. Overall I like it enough to make my own wood pieces to better fit the windows I have.

I was scouring the internet looking for a machine to do it all. Cool, dehumidify, and heat. I read on different sites that this was capable of heating, which was a major draw considering the room its in needs help cooling in the summer and heating in the winter as the central air doesnt keep up in that room. So I bought the machine, just to find out after it came in and got set up that theres no heating option. Why? Because theres two different machines that look exactly the same, and are basically the exact same price depending where you buy it. The only difference is a single letter in the model number, awesome. Well, this machine is also monstrous, its massive and heavy and bulky. If you have a smaller room, good luck finding room for this beast, seriously. The box it came in is totally obliterated from shipping, and trying to send it back doesnt sound pleasant. So here i am, stuck with a huge, super expenisve machine just before winter that doesnt heat at all. Couldnt be any less happy with this purchase.

Excellent unit! I researched this and decided on a dual hose unit. It is quite expansive but cheaper than central AC. It was easy to install. I only used the part of the window kit with the holes. I went to a hardware store to purchase a thin wood panel and cut it to size of the window. Easy to operate and not to noisy when it is on. It does put out really cold air. I used portable fans to blow the cold air throughout the house. Now it is more comfortable in the house on hot days.

Doesn’t require a drip pan or emptying out any water so super convenient and cools down my 32′ travel trailer great and that’s exactly what I bought it for definitely recommend this ac if your super busy and just enjoy your rest and want to be lazy when you’re home from a long day of work like myself.
Rugger –
Works surprisingly well at cooling given it is not in a window. Wish the hose connections on the back where stronger. The cheap plastic will break putting the vent hoses on off. Easy enough to operate. Comes with remote. If you have no other easy cooling options, I recommend this.
Gadget –
This unit is Spectacular. Heavy for a female to carry but cools my apartment. Love it
Kelly –
I bought this to replace a discontinued model that lasted 9 years. I’m using this unit to cool a 2-car garage that’s used as a work room. The rooms insulation is not great but this thing keeps the temp in the low to mid 70’s with the outside temp in the 90’s. Runs quiet and the remote is easy to use. I’m happy with it so far.
CasualEditor –
Great for those w/o central AC & doesn’t want a window unit. This was used to replace a portable AC from several years ago that didn’t do much. The upgrade is fantastic! Just keep in mind that although this isn’t as powerful as a window unit, it’s likely one of the best performing portable units out there.
Ivan –
It doesn’t make your room cold but it
Does help a bit I would buy a different brand like Honeywell maybe
pilgrim001 –
very happy with this unit. the dual hoses on the seem to make it much more efficient then my other single hose units
natsu64 –
The hoses could be designed better so that they are further apart but beside that this is pretty nice.
NetworkEngineer –
Surprisingly great product. Good quality. Cools 12×12 room very quickly. Very good backup.
FloridaHeatBeat –
This unit was a replacement for an $800 Friedrich same size that only lasted about 16 months. I was informed that 4 months out of warranty equals no available support and no repair options. This new unit works well and I added the four year geek squad protection.
Botcheddelivery –
I bought the unit because I can shut off 350 sq ft (kitchen/family room) of my 2400 sq ft house and efficiently (11.2 EER rating) cool a smaller living area for much less money. Using a radiant heater in the same area this winter saved me $100/month; AC should be even better-and much more sensible than solar panels. Installation is simple. Even though temperatures here get to 100+° in the summer, we get a Delta breeze most nights in the 50’s and 60’s and use our Airscape whole house fan overnight and into the mornings to cool entire house.
Alexa –
Exceed expectations, it’s great, easy to install and set up.
Frank –
This AC blows really cold, I really like it. It’s really quiet as well.
Wells –
It cools very well. Best purchase we have made on one of these. High quality brand. Very pleased with our product
Gamer –
This unit is great. The air emitted is icy cold and it cools my room perfectly. The included exhaust hose was easy to attach and the window assembly was effective. The unit is louder than a fan but I am able to sleep without being disturbed. Most of all it cools the room easily (400 sq feet). I live in the desert and it is very hot 110f – 115f so far.
BDVerret –
The air conditioner works great but getting the hoses connected was difficult the instructions were not clear I had to have someone come and get it all connected
Graff –
Heavier, powerful than your basic portable A/C. Strong enough to cool (chill) a large bedroom.
BestBuyBrianIII –
Worked well for a few weeks, but now it won’t maintain a setting on high fan. Very frustrating…not effective at all anymore. Should be able to last more than one 90+ degree day…..but it didn’t.
LalaT –
I have this device in our living room and it keeps it pretty cool . Very Happy with purchase .
BestDelivery –
This was my 3rd portable air conditioner i have owed and it is by far the best. My main reason for buying this brand was because of the energy efficiency which is great but this portable air conditioner is a workhorse. Cools a 650 sq. Ft. area very well even though it’s made for 500.
WuWudz5 –
Excellent dual purpose heater/ air conditioner… Wasn’t sure at first, but definitely a great purchase….
Great –
Excellent a/c for money . Very powerful and easy to use
ZEEBOX –
Bigger than what i needed and too heavy to move around.
Service –
Does the job. Quickly cools our bedroom in evening.
A bit noisy but not bad. Seems very efficient in cycling from refrigeration to fan and then auto shutoff.
DaVuck –
We live in an apartment where we have air conditioning in every room except our bedroom. I’m so glade we got this thing! It saved us from the 100 degree weather that started early June. It’s not loud, it makes our room feel cool within 10 minutes, and it doesn’t take up that much space! Definitely worth it!
Unknown –
Very nice machine. It’s really helpful for my daughter in last crazy weather time.
Socal69 –
Great portable air conditioner cool the room in less than 10 min. Easy to set up
Ooooo –
Work great but the hoses are huge and the machine is pretty big too but easy to put together and operate
Danielson –
Ac seemed like it worked great but the open box I purchased was in terrible condition even though is stated it was an open box excellent. First time I’ve experienced that..
MiriamA –
Bigger than I expected but definitely cools a small room.
Stev –
It cools very well, the noise is only noticeable when the temperature needs to reach programmed numbers
RobertK –
Twice I sent an email to support, they ignored me.
Digital –
AC unit, super greatnfor big room, one of the best I have tried!
BusyBee –
It does take up a bit of space, that being said this works great cools down the room immediately.
Rocky –
Such a life saver on my electric bill. This thing cranks out some serious cold air and I couldn’t be happier. It took long enough to find one and tons of research to find this one. I highly recommend!
Tere –
This bad boy works kind of bulky!! i like the evaporation while using dry mode , also the carbon air filter is a plus , keep the unit on for 24hrs with lid aiming to the ceiling, my bill was actually lower for these hot summer days.
Unknown –
So far so good just know you have to have a dedicated power line because it will trip shared breakers. It does cool the room fast!
DianeH –
Very pleased with my air conditioner. Easy to set up and run.
MikeLowrey –
Youll put this together and find yourself struggling to put the hoses in the window. Youll fix one and then the other will fall. Youll twist ans try to lock in place, it may even work but when you try to do thr same with the other, the first will fall. This was 30 mins of my life sweating. The piece that holds the hoses is the window is either too small with one piece or to wide with the other…… more money spent more problems
Clancy –
Excellent A/C unit. Easy installation. Works well!
Familyman –
Great air conditioner! Cools down my 900 sq ft apartment easy
Tomamais –
A bit noisy, but it gets the job done. It won’t fight the warmest days of your summer, but it sure makes them bearable.
As confirmed by my previous research, a two hose portable A/C is the way to go.
AmberG –
I love the dial hose system! It cools down my hosue quickly! I’d buy a better seal though. Other than that I love it!
