    I have the ‘subscription’ for this filter from BestBuy. Have received about 4 of these over the last two years. The last one (received in April) did not work for the water. So we had to wait and use tap water for 6 months. The next one that just arrived is much better. The water stream comes out nice and strong from the fridge. I recommend the subscription plan, but I don’t really have a choice than to get this filter.

    Since my original filter from whirlpool got over, we have been researching for a safe quality filter and landed up on everdrop filters. Although not the best in terms of price but makes it up for peace of mind as we have little ones in the house.

    Supwr wasy to install and really does a great job in purifying our water from the refridgerator. As soon as you replace the old one, and take a sip from the water (after running it for the recommended 2 minutes to flush out the system) you can immediately tell that it makes a huge difference.

    Good product. A bit tough to install. This is Whirlpool’s issue not the filter supplier. I do wonder if the time for the filter is based on gallons used or time installed within the refrigerator. Had an older Samsung that had the filter location in an easier location than Whrilpool.

    This filter works fine. Doesn’t leak. It does take a couple of times installing it to get the hang of it. It’s a bit tight removing the old one and replacing.

    This product has worded well overall for me. One caveat is that the note on the packaging indicates it should last for 6 months but I’ve been replacing mine every 4months. Maybe add a note that quantifies in gallons rather than length of time since that could depend on size of household etc
