Buyer beware. Do Not Buy. This is my second time purchasing this bundle package. The first time the dryer overheated with in hours and shut off. The issue happened daily for a week. I returned the unit and BB installer told me they hardly get returns said I got a faulty unit. So trusting his advise I asked for a replacement. Got the replacement and guess what after day 20 the dry does the same thing overheating and shutting off. BB wouldn’t replace brand new unit due to 15 day return policy. Had to call Whirlpool for a service at 20 days old. Now told have to order new computer board and wait for it to arrive. We have been with a working washing and dryer over a month as this is my second unit. Stay away. Wanted to love it but this is not worth the money I spent. I would get rid of it if I could but after spending 2,700. And money for the warranty just can’t toss it. So now the waiting game on when this will be repaired and y family can start doing laundry. Save your self the grief. You can also look up common errors for this product and see the documentation. Ps no compensation for us not being able to wash and dry. This is my second replacement.

Had a Whirlpool Duet for 16 years that worked perfectly. Decided to replace them rather than waiting for a breakdown.
The 3,2,1 start function is incredibly annoying. This is not a mill saw and there is no reason for a delayed start affecting my safety and to wait 3 seconds before starting while I hold down the start button. Dumb feature as I pick my clothes from the dryer over time and am constantly stopping and starting toward the end of the cycle,I leave t-shirts and shirts to the very end. Dryer doesn’t get my t-shirts wrinkle free, like the prior dryer did. Does not generate enough heat. I end up with 10 minutes left running an additional 20 minute steam cycle everytime,for nice flat shirts. Gone through every setting. No change.

Just because it’s newer it doesn’t mean it’s better. I bought this dryer and matching front loader washer has upgrades back January. I have had nothing but problems with them both. Dryer doesn’t dry on first dry time maybe the twice or third dry time. I have always clean my dry vent. And always clean dryer vent way before installing. Now Button panel is acting fun while drying and saying err. Sounding like someone is playing with it but it’s just drying! Do not waste your money on this or the washer!! I love whirlpool just not this.

After 5 months of use, the drum made a loud noise and then stopped moving. Dryer heats but does not tumble clothes so the dryer is useless. Whirlpool requires you to contact them for repair during the first 12 months per Geek Squad. Earliest availability to even look at it is 2 weeks. Wow…what are we supposed to do for dry clothing Whirlpool? Will likely cut my losses and toss it for junk after reading other reviews. Money wasted and poor customer service from Whirlpool. Thanks Whirlpool!

The laundry detergent drawer stopped draining. I have had it replaced twice and it still does not work. Also, I never used the steam function, however, the ring went up and my dryer flooded. Due to the flooding, the dryer started squealing really bad and I have to WD40 the wheels once to twice a week depending on use. I am looking for a replacment.

This is my second Whirlpool dryer WED6620. Both did not fully dry using the pre set modes that use the sensor. The only thing that worked was the timed dry option. Very disappointed as I’ve always had Whirlpool. Seems like more and more items these days do not have the quality they should or used to have.

Love the unit. Great machine but the main board burner on us several times. Good thing we had geek squad protection on it.
