hi I like my new dryer everything works really well with the exception of the installation. Installation was done by you guys and they did not do a good job the gas line was leaking in our house we had the gas company come out and found that the leak was coming from the connection that the workers you provided installed so gas company made a repair and fix

We have owned this Whirlpool model for six months now, and have just had a repairman tell us that our dryer needs a new motor and blower. It started making loud rumbling noises about three loads ago. I only wish I had waited for the original Maytag washer and dryer set I had ordered to come in (even though it was back ordered twice). This Whirlpool set was my second choice because I didn’t want to wait. I gave this three stars because the washer part of this set is great, and the dryer works well…. when it’s healthy.

Does a nice job of drying the clothes. The model is sleek, stylish, and not too big which I like. Many dryers and washing machines are too bulking and ugly looking. Only flaw is that the door is kind of difficult to open and close, but I think it supposed to be that way. Also, the buttons are very sensitive and almost touch screen.

I purchased this dryer and washer in May 2020 and April 2021 the dryer started to make a very loud clanking noise. I called Whirlpool because it was still under warranty. It took a few days for the technician to come out. He told me that he would need to order parts and it should take about two weeks. Then, after the two weeks I get an email telling me the parts are on back order and it take another month. I checked online and can found the genuine Whirlpool parts that are needed, but they can’t use those because of the warranty. I am most unhappy that my dryer that is less then a year old is unusable to me.

The whirlpool cycle smart capable gas dryer is definitely a good replacement model upgrade I’m happy I made this decision. The heavy weights towels, blankets, all seemed to dry in a reasonable amount of time wrinkle free and extremely softer. I will tell share with others the whirlpool smart gas dryer easy to set controls and get the perfect results for drying laundry.

This dryer is TRASH and their customer service is worse!!!
We purchased this product and in 11 months is NO LONGER working, now we are waiting for 4 weeks and WHIRPOOL does not care about fixing it. The part that we need is on BACK ORDER and we have to wait an EXTRA 2 WEEKS because it is WHIRPOOL’s policy. This is ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY WHIRPOOL, look for something else.

Purchased this as floor model saving myself a few hundred dollars. I doubt that I would have paid retail price for this because it has a lot of options that I will most likely never utilize. It has been operating trouble free for a few months and seems to dry clothes quite well. I do like the fact that you can set your own dry time by increments of 5 minutes – this is a very nice feature to have.

This would be a great dryer, except for a few maddeningly frustrating feature. First, the dryer defaults to EcoBoost. I didn’t realize this when I bought the dryer and I thought the dryer was broken because my laundry would never get dry. If the machine was supplied with a manual, I might have been able to figure that out. The app needs work. The dryer remote is frequently disabled for unknown reasons and the dryer itself frequently disconnects from the WiFi. If it were not for these frustrating features, I would probably like this dryer very much.

Please don’t buy this brand and unit. I purchased both dryer and washer a few months ago in 2021 towards the end of September. I installed the unit in the beginning of October. I started noticing my gas bill went up extremely high. I was paying more than $100 more a month, so I contacted my gas company to see if there was a leakage or something going on, but no everything was okay on their end. They said that my usage went up since the beginning of October, that is when I installed my gas dryer. I contacted Whirlpool customer service to see if they can help me and NOPE they said that there was nothing they could do to help me, they didn’t even try they have really bad customer service. Now I’m stuck paying $100 more a month on my bill. My gas company keeps sending me letters that I’m using to much gas and I don’t know what to do. Please don’t let this happen to you. Purchase a different brand this one is not good and the dryer takes a long time drying clothes maybe that why it uses more gas. This is an honest review.

I would have given this a much higher review, if it actually did it’s job and dried clothes. But it doesn’t. Everything must be dried on high heat and then pray it’s dry. You spend all this money for junk, so if you’re looking for a dryer, keep looking.

I wrote a review on this dryer, but think I put it under washer which I also purchased. I’ll make this one shorter, after 14 months dryer stops drying…no error codes, clothes not dry, dryer stops with different times remaining no rhyme or reason. Will not start again for 20 to 30 minutes. Sensors have never worked. Whirlpool paid for one service call where they installed a new computer board, but it didn’t work. Whirlpool will not pay for another service call! The service company stated if it wasn’t the computer board they didn’t know what it was. Inferior product. Evidently Whirlpool dryers in the United Kingdom had a recall for the same problem. Don’t buy this product without an expensive extended warranty!
