I needed a full size dryer with minimal depth and this unit fit the bill. It also is impressive how fast it dries. Along with the matching washer I was able to find a very nice set at reasonable prices.

I chose this dryer primarily to fit in a restricted space. I also liked its good reviews. I am very happy with it. Easy to use, loud buzzer, light inside, big capacity. Best of all, it takes about 1/3 the time to dry a full load even at medium heat.

This was the second dryer I had delivered. It fits in my small space, flat back dryer, but is loud. I do not know if my neighbors can hear it. I hope this is the last dryer I have to purchase in my life.

The dryer is fine but the noise is awful. We were rushed that day & if we didn’t buy it that day we would have had to wait until after the holidays which we could not do. It is smaller than my Whirlpool Cabrio that died but it seems to dry equally as well. I know Best Buy has a liberal return policy but I have too much going on to be able to go look for a new one & get the swap made. We will just live with it for now. Maybe after a year, it won’t grate on my nerves & I’ll be able to leave the laundry room door open. It bothers me with the door even shut. It really is THAT loud.

This dryer has a flat back which makes it ideal for an installation in an enclosed area. The unit has all the basic functions. The dryer is somewhat noisy when it is running.

This dryer works great!! I am very pleased with its performance; however, it is extremely loud and was not the best option for my second floor closet. I would have preferred another model; however, I was limited in space and had to purchase a dryer with a flat back. It dries my clothes very quickly without shrinking them.

The only reason we purchased this machine was due to space issues (need to be able to open our garage door). I’m glad this machine exists otherwise we would not have a dryer (took more than six months to finally get one since it’s been out-of-stock everywhere), but it’s very noisy! In addition to the machine being noisy, the buzzer alerting you when the dryer is done is comical (reminds me of a clown buzzer) and it scares the entire family whenever it goes off. The lint holder is also so cheaply made. My husband and I both commented that we hope it will hold up over time. As long as our clothes dry, we’ll learn to live with this machine, but I miss our last dryer! It was a much nicer quality machine for the same price.

i bought this one because of the space. it is the only one i can find to fit in.
4 month after use, i start getting wet cloth. Whirlpool tech came and checked and i was told the blower motor stops working and cannot be fixed and he needs to order a new one, and it is in back order. so far no eta. and i dont know what to do next….

My choice of washer and dryer was entirely dictated by the depth of the units due to limited space. This dryer is called a “flat back” dryer and it is optimized to still have a generous drying capacity while minimizing the footprint. Even though the cost for the set was more than $1400, it is a very basic set. Even placing a bag of groceries on the top of the dryer causes the metal to flex. And the dryer door requires a slam to get it to close and it sounds cheap and tinny when you do. But this dryer meets my two highest requirements, it fits in the laundry room and it gets my laundry dry, including king size linens. My last Whirlpool set lasted 27 years, I’m hoping to get a long service life from this set.
