    We love this washer, it’s not complicated to use. The only thing we are not sure if how the Load & Go works, we filled in the dispenser but not sure if pulling enough soap to pour in to the water, every time we check the dispenser, it seems the level we filled in still the same, and not much bubbles when pouring water into the clothes. But so far so good.

    I received my washer and dryer the day before Thanksgiving. I didn’t get a chance to use it until my 14 day warranty was up before I got sick. I don’t believe that the soap dispenser is working probably. Also the button the you push if you wants to rinse something do not want. I only recommend it if you have time to use it before your store warranty is up.

    Purchased in Sep 2022. After only 2 months of light use the washer drum violently bangs against the housing when on the spin cycle. Had Whirlpool tech come out and did testing and said it was fixed. Still no improvement after all the testing. Have requested a second service call. This is unacceptable.

    We had a Samsung washer prior to purchasing this one and I have to say, I will never go back to any other brand but Whirlpool for home appliances. We’ve had this washer and dryer combo for 3 years and thankfully we’ve had no problems and we love the that we can fit a king size comforter in it.

    After only 14 months the gear box needs to be replaced at a cost that nears what I paid for the washer. Fourteen months of an avg of 3 light loads per month, and I need to buy a new washer. In researching further this time around, I see where Whirlpool comes in with average ratings and doesn’t have any top 10 washers. Lesson learned.

    The washer looks nice, but it is super picky about how you load things. It gets unbalanced very easily and it is very loud when it spins. We bought this machine in 2020 and are looking to replace it already.

    Broke after 6 months this is so disappointing we hoped with it being whirlpool it would last and now it’s been a month and no one has shown up from whirlpool to fix it. They keep changing the date to come out and fix it !

    Excellent capacity and I like that it determines the water level by senses g the amount in there, or I can add extra water by pushing a button. I like the it tell me through the app that the wash is done. That keeps me from having to keep going downstairs to see if it is completed.

    Love the product. Pnly thing I would change would be where fabric softener is added. I preferred the previous model that you pulled out a little drawer andvadded the liquid.

    This washer does a good job of cleaning and there are plenty of options from which to choose. It was a little more expensive than I would have liked due to the “smart” feature which I really didn’t need, but overall I am pleased with its performance so far.

    Rediculous service. Ordered all appliances over a month ago and still have yet to get them. Keep calling us to reschedule our order and everytime we reschedule, they call us to reschedule again the day of. Have called and asked to speak with a manager multiple times get told we will get a call back and never do. Do not recommend getting appliances delivered from best buy!!

    At first we loved this washer. Now, less than 45 days it has a broke. Plastic latch and the washer will not function. Unbelievable poor quality for an $800+ appliance. We bought because we believed in the Whirlpool brand. Not so much any more

    Worst washer ever sounds like transmission is failing. Spits water out lid upon install, shakes furiously when spinning and scraping noise in drum. I ordered a replacement, sounds like a broke truck. Same problem with Whirlpool Washer purchased in 2019. The Whirlpool Dryer has been half repaired due to knocking noise. Will never purchase another Whirlpool washer or dryer again.

    I highly do not recommend a whirlpool or Maytag washer I’ve been battling with them for 2 years I’ve had 3 washing machines replaced and those 3 machines have had service come out 14 times and the machine still isn’t working properly

    Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience, after 1 year of use only the machine stopped discharging water. We had the technician coming over and it was identified a ruptured wiring preventing the discharge pump starting, after more the one month of wait on replacement, now the pump won’t stop and the machine is still not working. It’s unfortunate that for a new machine with a new design having this issue (seems to be from design/structure since the wire has not enough length and got ruptured only from conventional machine vibration). It’s been 2 months that I have to go for washing stores, and no expenses reimbursed or even an optimistic idea when the problem can be fixed.
    Also bought the drier, and although the beauty inox coating, it got scratches from the moment we placed for first a plastic basket in the top of it.
    I wouldn’t recommend anyone of buying both.

    Product looks good on paper, but fails in application. After 40 days this product has left us with a wet utility room and minus a washing machine for 5 plus days as we wait the “certified” Whirlpool repairman to appear and tell us it’s a broken unit that requires repair/replacement. Then we will get to wait for parts or replacement. We have now replaced every major Whirlpool appliance in our home at least once after buying the all brand new 7 years ago.

    We’re done with Best Buy as well. The blue box no longer supports their customers or the products they sell. Buy Greek Squad support or hit the road. A washing machine has a 15 day return policy and then deal with the manufacture after that. What about our laundry over the next 5 days? Ask your neighbor to use theirs was the answer. Horrible way to treat a customer, a life-long customer at that. 2 of my favorite brands out the door at once.

    Very disappointed with this. Owned it for less than 4 weeks, starting making a loud grinding noise. Called Whirlpool they sent a repair guy who said it needs a new gear case. They have to order it – will take at least 10 days. This shouldn’t happen to a brand new washer.

    I cant say enough about this washing machine. The machine can be used as a wash tub, you fill the detergent once a month and it automatically dispenses with every wash cycle. WiFi enabled to start loads later or notify you when the loads are done.

    Not lovin’ it due to the noise. And, although the Load & Go is a nice thought, it always calls for more detergent when there is a lot in the dispenser. Makes me think it’s using MUCH MORE detergent than I would use if I put it in myself. In addition, if one wants to use a different detergent for a gentle wash, lets say, you can’t use the Load & Go anyway. I just prefer to dispense the detergent myself. It seems to take a LONG time to do it’s job, however maybe it just seems that way. I wish I would have purchased a different brand.

    This washer doesn’t know hot from cold. Washes everything in hot even when changed to cold. Nothing wrong with my hoses. The lid also doesn’t close all the way so water comes out. Not worth the price.

    Bought this washer in January 2021, the motor went out August 2023. Appliances should last longer than that. It has been taken care of, always stayed on top of the clean cycles with Affresh, and gently used. Sorry to say I didn’t buy an extended warranty.

    I purchased this washer Oct 2021. I had been working fine until 6months ago. I now keep getting an Error F1 E1. I have been on the phone with Whirlpool and there are no help. I spent money to get it fix and it’s still not fixed. Save your money don’t buy this one. If you must buy this brand I wouldn’t get it with the Wi-Fi capability. I think that has something to do with and it’s corrupted.

    This is the BIGGEST piece of crap washer you can buy. The plastic teeth broke in under 3 years from normal use and now need to replace it. On top of that, it won’t start a load when we go to start it and makes you try it 12-14 times per load before it takes. Makes washing clothes way more complicated and stressful. Literally buy anything else or wash your clothes by hands is a better alternative. Extremely disappointed. Expected way more from Whirlpool. Trust me, look elsewhere.

    This washing machine broke after a year and a half. I got zero support from the OEM and had to replace it.

    We had it repaired once but it broke again!!! The wiring is a known issue and should be recalled !! The wires break under the drum and you have to have them fixed. Which costs money!! A thousand dollar washing machine should last more than a year and a half!!

    Had this washer a little over 2 1/2 years, and the drain pump went out and shorted out the main control board. Going on 2 weeks to get replacement pats. So now I need a new drain pump and main control board at a cost of almost $500 on a machine that only does 2 loads a week.

    Purchased July 2021. Paint bubbling on interior top panel. Out of manufacturers one year warranty and am told rust not covered under extended warranty. A $1,000 washer rusts after two years? Ridiculous. Whirlpool clearly does not stand by their products. Unable to upload photos, repeated error message: “Sorry the upload failed”

    Purchased this washer for a little over 2 1/2 years and never had a problem. I only use it for clothes and nothing heavy. I would go to the laundromat for those things. I put in a load and came home to the machine filled with water and none of the buttons would come on. We checked the plug to make sure we didn’t blow a fuse. Called for service and they ordered a new control board. When they put in the new control board it blew again. Called Whirlpool had one of their people come and also said the control board is not working correctly. So now I am out of a lot of money which I could have just purchased a new matching. Now I have to go and spend more money to get another washer. I’m beyond mad that it is only 2 1/2 years old. I loved it up until now. This was my first large purchase when we bought our home. Now reading these reviews it seems to be a problem. I thought Whirpool/Maytag was a good brand and would last a long time. I will not be purchasing another from them. Hoping the dryer will last awhile longer.

    I would love to say that I love the washer just as much as the dryer. But I’ve had to file two warranty claims now due to the agitator motor going out. If you get this one, make sure to get the extended warranty. I gave it 3 stars, because so far I haven’t had to pay anything extra out of pocket due to the extended warranty (Thru whirlpool)

    This may be the only review I’ve ever left on anything I’ve purchased. Purchased in late 2020 to replace a washer that came with the house we purchased. Loved our Cabrio at the house we sold so did our best to try and replace with what we knew and appreciated. This washing machine, from day 1, was a bit “basic”. While it didn’t fail at anything out of the box or leave anything desired, there wasn’t anything really great about it. I had read a few reviews prior to purchasing and even stumbled on some that said the washing machine was messy in that it spit water across the opening (with the lid closed) at the start of cycles and it would run down the face of the machine. Figuring this was a small problem with a likely unique circumstance I went ahead and purchased. Well – it certainly took place on ours and while I could complain about having to wipe this machine down – I’m not. What is becoming apparent though is that this machine is rusting from the inside out. The finish at the lower face (where your toes would hit when loading) is corroding and working it’s way upward. If you reach under the machine, it’s even further apparent the outer shell is holding water. Additionally, the fabric softener inlet on the top/left/front of the machine (under the lid) is also starting rust/chip/corrode around the perimeter. Being as though we have literally never poured anything into that inlet – I can’t imagine anything that we could have done to have caused this. Attempts to reach out to Whirlpool service have fallen on deaf ears. Responses are nothing short of attempted science lessons explaining what happens to steel when it gets wet. Conveniently overlooked is a product that uses water and shouldn’t mess itself. Wildly underwhelming purchase prior to this rust discovery already. The fact that this water is more than a clean-up issue is a dealbreaking concern. Appliances aren’t supposed to fall apart 3-4 years after purchase. Service has been made for a tech to confirm what I’ve observed. I’d be happy to compliment Whirlpool on their proper approach rectifying this otherwise silly issue on a $1,000 washing machine. It won’t belong before the finish chips to reveal obvious rust and running a machine that looks 20 years old. I can only imagine the damage it’s doing to itself in places that I can’t see that will amount to actual functional issues.
