    The installation of the range hood was seamless and the dual halogen lights not only light my dove area but gives a cozy feeling in the kitchen.

    Garbage. Looks great but is completely useless as a vent. Only vents from left side (by design) and even then it doesn’t work well.

    Easy to install. Had to buy the outlet cables separately since they aren’t provided. I do wish there was a 3 speed for the fan. Other than that I really do like this range hood and plan to buy another one soon for a friend

    This is our third hood in 5 years. The first two were a different brand purchased from a different store and the fan blades kept breaking after about two years. With this this purchase, my husband and I felt safer choosing a well known brand like Whirlpool. We are now hitting the 2 year mark and it’s still “working” but it has never really done too good of a job. The past hoods have done a much better job ridding the smoke from the stove. More times that not my windows and ceiling fan do the job I purchased this hood to do. I do not recommend this hood.

    I can not speak to the longevity of this product as it has been hanging in my kitchen for only a week at this point. What I will say is that we bought it open box to get it cheaper and it said excellent condition on the open box description. It was indeed fine and came with all parts and instructions. It looks very nice in our kitchen and saved a lot of space where the microwave used to be. It is nice that this can be vented or not and we chose not to vent as there was no vent in the kitchen in the first place. I didn’t really buy this so much for the fan as for the LED lights which do provide plenty of light over my stove. The only complaint I have about this product so far is the instructions could be better about how to mount it. We got it done though. It’s simple, sleek looking, and looks nice and clean.

    Does NOT come with a POWER CORD and the part number for the cord, W10613691, is NOT SOLD at Best Buy. Spent over 3 hours with Best Buy this morning, via Live Chat (useless) and telephone, about this and now off to Home Depot to find the part!

    Paid for HOOD to be installed by Best Buy, however, product ended up being UPSed and arrived 5 hours AFTER technician left our house. Best Buy said they won’t come back out for a week. OUTSTANDING POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

    great hood. Very effective fume/smoke removal by strong 3 speed fan. The one drawback to this unit would be the lack of light control..there is but one on/off with no choice of hi/med/low option.

    There is no suction on the right side of this range hood. The single fan/blower is only on the left side. They didn’t even bother putting it in the middle so both sides get something. Not sure what the logic is in this design. If it weren’t so hard to uninstall and I need a range hood ASAP, I would have returned it.

    Easy to install, fantastic lighting, and wonderful fan. We have been very impressed with this hood so far. Right now we have it set up for recirculating, but eventually we plan on switching it to outdoor venting when we replace our siding next year. But from how easy it was to install, it should be easy to convert as well. All-in-all, I’d recommend this hood!

    I really like this hood. Lights are very bright. The only negative is there are no other levels for lighting. Just hot and bright.

    This is a really nice range hood. The stainless steel color and quality is good, it matches the “new” fingerprint proof stainless of our new appliances nicely.
    Also it is lightweight and thin (top to bottom) and takes up less room than our old hood.
    We also chose to install this ourselves and it was very easy to install (the “ventless” option).
    Operationally, the fan is quiet and efficient and the lights are bright and uniform. Would definitely recommend this product.

    I have to say it… I bought it for the looks. It looks very modern and sleek installed, but (and its a very big but) it is not very good at venting. If you choose to get this hood… be perpared to cook all of your food on the left side.
