The first hood that was delivered didn’t work! The lights worked but the fan did not. So we sent it back and the replacement works great!

This range hood looks great, I love the tap touch. And Derek came out with his assistant and installed it. He did an amazing job, so knowledgeable and even with a less than perfect installation project that was left in the home,he Took the time to make sure it was installed correctly and did a beautiful job! I can’t thank him enough for making my kitchen beautiful!

I purchased a GE stove, I love it after 3 service calls to fix the burners. The BTU’s are awesome. After using the stove, i realized I needed a vent hood for it. I purchased the hood Dec. 22 and picked it up Dec. 29th. The salesman (Dusty) gave me a installers name and phone number, Ben Lewis. Ben was one of the 3 service repairman that finally fixed my new stove I previously purchased from Best Buy. I contacted him after I purchased the hood Dec. 22 and he said he would put in the vent. I phoned him once since and he said some of his help wasn’t feeling good and he will get to it soon. I texted him one time since and no response. It is now February 13 and my wife has Health issues too and guess it’s time to find someone else to install it. Going on two months now, all he had to do is be honest and tell me he’s too busy to do it and I could be using it by now.

I was initially skeptical of how the range hood would turn out once installed but I was pleasantly surprised how powerful it was.The black exterior and stainless steel hood matches my stove top perfectly. So far it works great!

Bought this for a kitchen remodel. The bottom is canted up at an angle so when you look at it, you see the entire bottom. Why would I want to look at the bottom of the exhaust fan? To top it off, the edge of the filters is blue. Huh? I pick out countertop colors, tile colors, and cabinet colors only to have a fairly bright blue introduced? Also, each of the two filters look different – they do not match. Oh, by the way, our guy hooked it up and it does not turn on! We confirmed there is power going to the unit. Ugh.

I love the sleek look. I found this one to go with my new appliances that are black stainless steel and it looks great. It is kind of loud on high setting. The only reason I did not give a 5 star is because I have yet to find the charcoal filters.

This has been the best range top fan we have ever had. We wanted it for the fan, but the light has been fantastic. The fan is powerful enough to remove all cooking odors from the house when cooking.

I was initially impressed by the sleek design and the functionality. Also, the reviews I had read from other people, I figure it will be a great fit for our kitchen. However, once I open the to clean the vents, I found that it is a single ventilation system. I was expecting it to have two vents like most range hoods.

If you live in the Midwest/Great Lakes area, don’t expect it to be delivered any time soon. I bought it in store on 10-27-19, the installation kept on getting pushed back because Best Buy didn’t have any in stock in the state or neighboring states. Finally after nearly 6 months I got one delivered and installed.
As for the product itself, it works great. Good air flow and the light is bright. Fan was a little louder than I was expecting even on the lowest setting. It does not come with charcoal filters so expect to buy those for ~$40 if you don’t hook it up to ductwork. The sides of the range hood are stainless steel, it’s not the same black material that you see from the front so if you care about matching with other things in your kitchen keep that in mind since it does extend from our cupboards a fair bit.

I love the look of this over the range hood. Only negatives are that fingerprints are very noticeable against the dark face. Also, a negative would be that the fan is very loud. Otherwise it does the job and it’s improve the look of our kitchen.

First this is a great looking hood. Excellent controls and it’s fan, while loud, could suck a golf ball through a garden hose. When I say loud, that’s a good thing since it’s all about airflow and while I have had a quieter unit, this thing is much more efficient. The one star off is for the charcoal filters. The stock Whirlpool ones are pricey and it took some time to even find some in stock at another online store. Of course I knew that going in, but still, no point for you Whirlpool.

This device provides excellent clearance of cooking vapors. It is unbotrusive and easy to use. Controls are intuitive. It is not excessively noisy. My smoke alarm has not gone off since I replaced the old oven hood with this one.

Easy to use lights bright sadly its very loud and with cooking greasy its very slippery and when you select one button a different button turns on.
