    We just installed this fan few days ago and so far we are very happy with the looks & the performance. Low setting is very quiet yet pulls the air in very well. The packing (film around the stainless steal to keep it scratch resistant) is a brilliant idea. The item was delivered by Best Buy with no damages.

Read the instructions carefully, buy the required additional parts and pay close attention to the template. Extremely happy with the lights and fan functionality.

    We paid to have the hood range installed. A few days past the time given. Noone showed up noone called or anything. The hood range and the wall ovens are both sitting on the floor and have been for 3 days now. Still noone has tried to reach out to install them. This is new Construction as well. P.s I dont know how it works it Has not been installed…

    Looks nice, LEDs are bright and replaceable according to Manuel by whirlpool tech? Fan is quiet, seems to withdraw smoke and smells outside wall. The bad it does not come with whirlpool logo, I have all matching appliances….. it’s not real stainless steel, because a magnet sticks to it, and it finger prints terrible. Wish I would have known, doubt I would have purchased it, but it’s up now, and serving purpose.

    This is simply the quietest hood out there and it turns over an unbelievable amount of air even on the lowest setting (which you really have to listen for to hear. On top of function, it looks awesome as well. If you are going to vent through the roof or out a wall, installation is quite straight forward. The template for drilling the mounting holes makes life easy – no measuring or guess work. Mounting through tile or granite, use hardware store 1/4″ anchors with the right size sheet metal screws. Mounting to plasterboard, the 10mm provided anchors will be more than secure. If you are replacing an under cabinet hood (you have to remove the cabinet, obviously), you may have a bit of an engineering nightmare, as most of those have 7×4″ rectangular vents in the wall, then going up from there through the roof. You will have to cut out (a die grinder is needed) the old vent (and plasterboard covering) all the way up to where the new soffit will be. Broan Nutone makes an adapter that goes from the rectangular vent to the 6″ circular vent which this hood has (Part number 411 Transition). Flexible 6″ vent line from the transition part to the hood makes this a bit easier, but you will still have to cut away a lot of plasterboard to angle the flexible vent tubing all the way out of the wall interior to where the hood will be. Then, you will have to fill in the cut out space (I used foam) and then install pieces of new plaster board. This whole process is not for the timid and we even had a few professionals refuse to take it on. Fortunately, I am the Rube Goldberg type and actually did a pretty good job considering the difficulty factor. Of course, you can always choose a non-venting configuration (which as you may surmise isn’t great getting rid of exhaust fumes). Of course, if the hood is mostly for decoration rather than function (your wife makes reservations, rather than actually cooks), that will work. Anyway, overall this hood looks and works every bit as good, or better, as the ones costing 3x as much and from manufacturers that you do not know. Just my .02.

    After installing the entire hood, I installed the final grease filters and the handle on one just fell apart. It’s a very low quality, flimsy part. A new one costs $30 which is way overpriced. Very disappointing.

    This range hood is absolutely beautiful in every way possible! Best of all it is not loud at all even on its highest setting! It is worth every penny! We’ve gotten so many compliments on it in our kitchen. Would definitely recommend to anyone in search of a good quality hood range.

    We just installed it. So haven’t used much. But it makes loud noise at high speed. In today’s rocket and IT world I think this is very bad design. If I could, I would fire the people who work on the design of this product.

    So far so good after install but used once, but I bought an open box in EXCELLENT condition (verified all parts included) only to find that 1) ALL screws and a key attachment part for venting was missing 2) spare filter was bent and unusable. I tried calling the store for replacements with the name of the person who checked/verified the box, but could not reach ANYONE at the store for a month!! HIGHLY considering a poor review of the store and reconsidering Best Buy purchases in the future for sure. Don’t trust the quality of the items wont purchase unless I have time to drive down and fix issues. Totally disappointed with my experience

    Honestly purchased this item because it was the only hood range available at the time of my kitchen remodel. Every item was sold out due to the pandemic remodeling craze. But now I’m glad I purchased. It has the same look, feel and accomplishes exactly what I need. It doesn’t have any bells and whistles but is all that you need; light and fan (low and high). Good value for the money.

    My other appliances are LG stainless steel and this Whirlpool stainless steel is very similar if not exact to my other appliances.

    I had it professionally installed with my other remodel items so I can’t speak to the ease of the installation. FYI – I had the contractors fix the placement of the hood range. It is

    Contactless delivery was perfect. I was kept updated and reminded several times of the delivery. Love Best Buy!

It has amazing bright lighting and the power on this vent is great! All the smoke is swept upwards. Best vent so far. I have had no issues and I love it. If anything comes up, I will update this review.

    I have used Whirlpool, Samsung, Z Line, and GE hood vents. the Whirlpool is every bit as good as the GE and Samsung hoods for less money. the best part about them is that they can be set up to recycle without having to buy a $100 kit like the samsung and GE units.

    Perfect for any type of kitchen. It works like a charm to push out all of the cooking smell from kitchen. The fan doesn’t sound too loud even on the highest setting. Stainless steel look fits well with the rest of the appliances.

    Great range hood, features are really great! It has amazing bright lighting and the power on this vent is great! All the smoke is swept upwards and its pretty quiet for the low and medium setting. However, wished the cover for the chimney is more flexible (adjustable).

    A quality product that works well and looks nice. Build quality is right in line with what you would expect. The dedicated buttons give you enough flexibility to get the job done. A knob or dial instead of buttons might have been a more appropriate choice to dial in settings.
