When the oven was first installed, it stopped working a couple hours later. I had to go through Whirlpool’s warranty to get someone to come fix the issue (which took over a week). So I didn’t get to enjoy the oven the first 8 days I had it. However, it was fixed (door latch issue). And now it works perfectly. Probably just bad luck, but just a forewarning that the door latch has to be perfectly balanced (as all things should be).

Nice oven! Had to pick up from the warehouse twice because the first one was a lemon.
Works fine but touch screen is little frustrating. when you open the oven door hot it causes steam to flare up and the screen goes crazy.
Some things getting use to but otherwise cooks well. I would give a five star but the screen needs improvements.

I see that a ton of people really like this oven. My two cents. Yes, it is very large and takes 15 minutes to preheat(unless rapid preheat is selected). Seems like overkill to heat a baked potato or to finish off a steak. I don’t like the touch screen control. And I don’t like that it turns off on its own if the door is opened at times.

After the item was installed it did not work. After almost a month the oven was fixed by an authorized Whirlpool technician, Now that the oven works everything seem fine and I am happy with all of it’s features and functionality.

Have had this oven installed since March 2020 .several times the WiFi became disabled had to turn the breaker on and off. Some kind of drippings have gotten between the inside and outside windows of the door. Like several people have mentioned the heat from the oven intereferes with the digital display and you have to reset the oven. We set the oven at 350 to cook something and left the house. It heated up to 100 and turned off. Not happy at all with this appliance

Bought to upgrade a wall oven installed in 1984 by my Dad. So another Whirlpool is a no brainer. Looks great. Installations went well. Adjusted opening because the older overs were higher than 28 inches. Opted for the Wifi model. Works great.

Good basic oven, only offers bake, broil, and warm. I use the Wi-Fi regularly to pre-heat. The scan to cook seems cool, but in reality probably never going to use it.
My biggest issue is when you open oven to check on food, steam comes out and covers the display panel with water droplets. I foresee this being an issue in the future; probably when it’s out of warranty. I have an oven calibrator, and it was spot on with temp. TotalTech was awesome with it; paid for delivery, install, and haul away.

The stove is working out well. Easy to use.I have not hooked up wi-fi yet or used programs. I would like to get used to the oven first before wi-fi. Baked pie but put pan under as not happy about steam cleaning I loved self cleaning. Installation terrible.Installer had no electric tester for breakers. Stove didn’t fit in space. Had no wood to build it up so couldn’t close up the 2″ hole. Said he would be back. Left me with wood showing on the ottom. Also told me I could use it. Electrician said could have fallen out.A week later had another repairman. He took oven out started over. Looks great. If tested with first installer I would not have had to purchase oven as generator outside had a problem .I didn’t call repairman as said $200.00 and it was 31 years old.Only the oven was out in house.

The oven I had was broken, so I chose to buy it rather than repair it. And I installed it myself.
It is a heavy product, so it is difficult to install by yourself. I need a little help. Be careful when connecting the power. Then connect to wifi and install the app on your phone. It works very well. It’s a good product. Today we are making bread.

As other reviewers have mentioned, there are issues with the oven’s touch panel control. Whenever you open the oven, the steam that comes out causes droplets of water to form on the control panel causing it to do weird things. Usually it shuts off the oven, sometimes it changes the temperature, other times it will return to the home screen. When you go to correct the settings, the touch screen won’t respond unless you wipe the water droplets off the panel. It’s a real hassle to deal with these issues every time you open the oven door.
There is no way that Whirlpool did not encounter this issue during their testing, and it is troubling that this oven is still on the market.
I also think it is a safety hazard given that the oven will change it’s settings sometimes when you open the door. I’ve had the oven switch itself from 350 degrees to 500 degrees just from opening the oven door.
Stay far aware from this oven.

Total garbage. The touchscreen is a terrible idea. As soon as you open it to check on your food, the steam touches the screen and can change the temperature, turn it off, etc. And then it doesn’t register your fingers to fix the problem. Even worse, after two years of owning it, the oven decided to LOCK and refuses to operate at all, despite being otherwise fine. No troubleshooting will fix it and the part that might fix it is $450 plus $130 minimum service visit. I complained to Whirlpool that locking my oven is their software problem, and they ignored me. AVOID.

My last unit was 16 years old and starting to go. So time to upgrade. After the major headache of finding a plumber to move the fad connector to the cooktop because our old unit was notched to fit around it and these new ones aren’t I got the it up and running.
Love that it is super quiet. Love the large clock and the touch screen which are so easy to use. It cooked the food evenly and didn’t burn anything.
Negatives: NO booklet or online info on how to use it. Checked whirlpool directly and YouTube. When I stand in front of it to use my microwave I’m constantly hitting the super sensitive touch screen, and like some others the wifi will not connect at all. It connects to my router not my modem.
Now that said I didn’t buy it for the wifi I bought it because it happened to be one of the cheaper models and I just wanted it to function since my old unit was very inconsistent. Overall I’m pleased with it but keep in mind if you have a unit more than 15 years old it’s a headache to move the gas connector from the cooktop to allow this one to fit unless you really remodel your cabinets.

I am very happy with the purchase of this oven. I did have issues with connecting to the wifi initially. I had to go through the connection process several times before it finally took. It has worked great since and I actually use the app to start it remotely and set the timer!

I have had this oven for about 1 month now and I cannot complain. It looks great and does a nice Kobe roasting, broiling and baking.

When opening the door of this oven (while baking), the heat that rushes out of the oven (onto the touch screen) affects the function of the oven – it will change/cancel the timer, change the temperature, and sometimes cancels baking all together. The touch screen seems to be very sensitive to temperature changes – really the touch screen can’t handle the heat released when the door is opened. It’s frustrating and annoying and seems like a design flaw. I would not recommend this oven.
