VERY disappointed in this machine and if I could I would send it back!
Thought it was a fluke at first when it would spin out of balance so often but the problem has gotten worse and worse. Unless you do a light weight load the thing sounds like it’s blasting off into space. Do a load of jeans or sweats and you will have to stop it mid spin, rearrange the load and after 3 or 4 presses of the start/pause button, it will finally finish the cycle. NOT A GOOD BUY, AVOID!

This washer is not the high end one, but the price is also not on the high end. For this price, it has enough functions that one family needs, the capacity is big, can load a whole family’s items. I only have it for a month, so far so good, if it can last for 8 years, I would think it’s a very good buy.

Love my washer. I had a really expensive Samsung one before, front loader. But after a short amount of time I noticed that mold was collecting in the front seals, the drainage area kept getting clogged, and the electronic sensors on it would go nuts ever so often. When it was time to get a new one, I opted for this top loader and one that has no fancy sensory except just the water fill for efficiency purposes. It cleans really well – bulky/hardy fabrics as well as delicates. The key is to avoid overfilling with clothes, and I prefer to do a deep water soak and wash each time (I know, extra water usage).

The washer operates as expected and is easy to use. My only complaint is that I bought this washer in September 2018, roughly 2.5 years ago, and the transmission leaked much of the oil. This shouldn’t be a concern in the first few years and it’s disappointing.

Bought this to replace a Gibson front-loading unit that failed suddenly. This Whirlpool is much quieter than the former unit. It’s BIG! The clothes smell much better than with the prior unit. The automatic sensing level works great and the clothes are getting very clean without an agitator. Our Whirlpool “smart” double oven is anything but smart, so definitely do not miss that feature.

We bought this in November of 2020. This it has stopped working in less then 2 years. This has been the noisiest washer we have ever owned. The loud mechanical clicking and popping noises when it runs were bad enough from day one. Now it makes a horrible grinding noise during certain parts of the cycle and is unusable. I do not know if they wouls warranty this piece of junk and frankly I do not care to try. I will buy something different. I would not recommend this product.
