Worst product I ever bought. Rocked violently even on small loads. Destroyed my laundry room I. One such occasion . Whirlpool support came out 6 times replaced the shocks and other parts and just more of the same. Ended up just replacing with zero store credit from whirlpool or Best Buy. Do not buy this junk! After 6 months of repeated visits from the repair man the dryer now broke. I will never purchase anything from whirlpool or their affiliates.

We bought this washing machine to replace our 20 year old whirlpool washer that finally died. This washer is terrible. It spins off balance (and very loudly) with even the lightest load in it. I’ve occasionally taken clothes out after a cycle that aren’t completely wet and the clothes often still smell of perfume. It’s definitely not cleaning the clothes. Very disappointed.

poor idea. I am having to double check when I start the washer that it has started the cycle. I have had to restart often.

This W/D was bought as a set. While the dryer is good, this washer is below expectations. Although it has an agitation arm, it doesn’t appear to do much agitating, creating barely any suds. It seems to need 1.5x the detergent than our previous washer. It auto-senses how much water to fill, but I often see dry corners sticking up especially when washing large or bulky loads. I was hoping that this machine would at least come close to the quality of our old Kenmore 600 series washer, but it does not. (It had a broken frame so we had to replace it after 10 years. We bought it used, so it was likely much older than that.)
I run an additional rinse and spin cycle, with white vinegar, to be sure everything is actually clean. That is even after using the “Deep Water Rinse” setting, which doesn’t appear to add any more water than the regular setting.
Would not buy again.

Not happy.I switched back to a washer with an agitator.I’ve had them before but this one’s noise level is extremely loud. Even before the wash cycle starts it is banging and popping as it is assessing the load. What is that?

I bought this product in March of 2022. It started having problems going into the wash cycle in December of 2023. We switched the settings to Auto-Sensing only and it started working again in to l January 5th of 2024. For a product that is less than 2 years old to malfunction this easily is disheartening and unacceptable. These $600 and up products should last way longer than 1-1/2 years. Whirlpool at that. I guess we need the extended warranty on everything nowadays. Or maybe just buy the $900 washer instead. Sad.

PROS: Works well. Has an agitator..yay! Has deep water wash and rinse and you can trick it to add extra water for large loads by opening and closing the lid. Clothes are clean. So far no issues. CONS: the pause button doesn’t stay paused very long before draining the wash water (wasteful). The old model I used to be able to lift the lid for pause and soak clothes. I miss that. I can’t wash small throw rugs without putting them in a bag. It tears them up. Somehow they catch under the agitator during the spin cycle. It also tears up my steam mop pads. Anything with a thick edge has to go in a bag. Towels and clothes no problems. Not a deal breaker but it’s a pain. Overall I’m happy with it. The deep water factor is the selling point.

Such a nice washer and dryer!!! So many options on them to save water and electricity. If you need a short wash or a heavy cycle you got it in this washer and dryer! I’ve put comforters in it and no problems washing them. And the price you can’t beat!!!! Dryer gets good n hot dries so quick!!!!

Bought this as an “open item” hoping whatever initial problem it had might have been fixed. Boy were we wrong. The washer worked in certain cycles only but never under the normal wash. Nevermind it has an agitator which can cause damage to clothes faster. Decided to spend a little more and traded it back for a Front Load washer and praying for better results.
