    We are very happy with this refrigerator. The freezer design with the top shelf basket that pulls out is very convenient.
    The extra/separate crisper drawer is awesome.
    The only negative is the amount of space the ice maker takes up in the refrigerator. But we wanted door dispensers for ice and water, so we had to give up something.
    Black Stainless Steel is also really cool. It looks so sleek.

    I went from a counter depth french door refrigerator/freezer to this larger 4 ‘door’ fridge, and I’m so glad I did! I have so much more ROOM, and I love the drawers! I was concerned about how far it would stick out, but it’s really not bad, and I can comfortably open the drawers even with my kitchen island right in front of it! I also really like the black stainless, even though my other appliances are mostly silver stainless, with black accents, it works together very nicely.

    This is, without a doubt, the LOUDEST appliance I’ve ever encountered in my life!! The water filling the ice tray, the ice dump, are so loud. It also just randomly makes noise all the time. When the noise does occasionally stop, it’s very noticeable. I would NEVER recommend this item.

    We’re very pleased with this refrigerator. It isn’t as roomy as the replacement, but there are only my husband and I. What we really like about the Whirlpool Refrigerator there is plenty of room for produce. The freezer is the perfect size for weekly shopping storage.
    I do not recommend for a large family.

    The ice maker on this refrigerator is a bad design. Very disappointed in the operation. Ice bin sometimes is empty, dispenser jams and having a kitchenaid which is the same manufacturer and for 23 years with an occasional ice maker issue, the problem was resolved, but this is just not reliable period.

    I seldom write reviews unless they are far above or below expectations. And this one, is the very rock bottom. I realize this purchase was about three years ago, but I feel as if refrigerators should give you at LEAST 10 years of solid performance. But the daily reminder that I made a horrible choice with this was too much to ignore. If I can save ONE consumer considering to buy one of these new or used, it was worth it. Where to begin….
    1. Noise- it seems to have to run constantly, which is kind of strange in itself. And when it does, it sounds like an electrical line was severed in your kitchen.
    2. Temperature deficiencies- despite cooling things in the drawers and lower shelves about to the temp you’d like, it freezes practically anything on the upper shelf and close to the ice hopper. Lettuce practically anywhere in the unit freezes. Even pickles get icicles. And yes…I’ve studied the internet wisdom and have tried a variety of temps. Major bummer.
    3. Impractical design – Want to pull out drawers and shelves easily to clean them every so often?? Not with this guy! Most of that stuff is either extremely non-intuitive and/or land locked into place. You gotta climb inside to sweep out the crumbs and spills.
    4. Minor gripe list- have to defrost more than usual to prevent a blizzard in freezer; space is way less efficient than dimensions should allow. Freezer and fridge space seems to easily fill up with not a lot of food; Door open sensor does not always let you know door is ajar. You can go a day with an open door. Ugg.

    I leave near Whirlpool headquarters and know lots of current and former employees. But I am pretty sure I’ll never buy their products after this experience. Made me remember the old term when they’d call a dud car a Lemon. This fridge is that….and it freezes lemons to boot. Steer clear of ANY Whirlpool refrigerators. I’m looking at LG as my go to moving forward.

    I love this fridge. The french doors and drawers work very well for me. The only drawback I’ve come across is that the door doesn’t always shut properly. It seems to be getting better so I suppose it has to be broken in a bit.

    This refrigerator looks good, but has several flaws. There is no alarm when a door is left open – not good if you have kids. The shelves on the left door are too tiny and too shallow to store much of anything. It is very difficult to use the water dispenser and the ice comes out too fast so it always ends up on the floor. All in all, I would not recommend this refrigerator and wish I could return it.

    The refrigerator is beautiful in the black stainless steel. It’s spacious and allows for sorting and separating of food. I’m loving the chilling drawer. The ice maker can be a little loud and there’s this whistling sound that I’ve noticed here and there but it’s otherwise pretty quiet. My only issue was the delivery. My refrigerator was installed damaged but customer service did call immediately and offer multiple solutions.

    Best Buy is a nightmare. Had this refrigerator damaged by the delivery/ install guys. Tried to reorder but it was out of stock. Best Buy tried to get me to order parts but that would take months to receive. Offered me crap to keep the damaged refrigerator. The delivery managers for Albuquerque, NM are worthless and unable to help. Finally the refrigerator I ordered came back in stock after almost 2 months. Had the second fridge installed and it was damaged again by the delivery guys. Now im waiting for this one to get repaired or replaced. The delivery/ install guys were useless and have no knowledge on how to do their job. When you call the Best Buy number you get nothing but out of the country people who can barely speak english and will be of no help to resolve your issue. Overall Best Buy has nothing but crap employees. For this bad experience I will never buy anything from them again.

    The delivery man was rude and arrogant. After refusing to move the old refrigerator out of the way for the new one, he then refused to hook up the ice maker and told us to get a plumber. I told him that take the refrigerator back to store. I got my money back and went to Lowe’s where delivery was without issue!
