    Bought this on the advice of a BB employee because he affirmed it’s compatible with Mac Time Machine. That is “a” truth but not “the whole truth.” Once the Mac goes into “Sleep” mode the WD drive disconnects itself and to get it to sync back up I have to restart the Mac. WD no help. Online forums describe an alternative “fix” which is disable “Sleep” in power settings and leave the computer on 24X7. That works but is not what I want, not ideal. I’m a month past the warranty return and can’t afford to buy another one (different brand).

    i LOVEEE this hard drive. I used to have a chunky one that required access to power to use, so this is a lifesaver. Emphasis on the hard drive and not SSD. Remember to set your format before you start working and transferring files to/from it

Ived loveed the color and how small it is to fit in all my logeges and backpacks. If your looking for a practical way to save the things you love i would recomend getting this harddrive.

    This WD 2 Tb USB-C Ultra is super fast and has an adapter included from USB–C to the standard USB-3.
    This small WD 2 Tb Hard drive gives you plenty of room to store your movies music photos and just plain files.

    I use this as a backup for my iMac. ONce in awhile it totally loses track of the backup drive, and it won’t find it it again until I reboot. This is annoying but not terrible.

    I replaced an older unit that had seen better days with this new, larger-capacity external drive for handling backup. So far so good. It’s quiet and seems to be doing its job. That’s all I could ask for. I like WD products. They are the most reliable and resilient in my opinion.

    It works with my Mac M2 Mini. The Mac Mini is great except that you have to pay through the nose for drive capacity: Mine came with a paltry 256 gigabytes, some of which is used by the operating system and the installed applications. This device provides long-term backup and extended capacity. It’s not an SSD so keep it safe from shock and vibration.
