    Not bad for the 4TB size and that it is not an SSD. Speed was good for a hybrid drive this size. It does require it’s specific USB cable that comes with the drive, to give you the speed. I bought this for my LG QNED tv I just purchased. It’s now full and runs the 1080p and higher movies great. The only thing that would make this better is if it was a SSD.

    External hard drive works perfectly on my PS5. I have PS4 and 5 games saved on it. The PS4 games can play directly from the external drive but PS5 games have to be redownloaded to the main system. Over all a great buy and a must have for enthusiastic gamers.

    Got this drive as a backup for an 11 year old PC that was about to run out of memory. I needed to transfer 1.8 TB of data. I was able to connect it quickly and was able to transfer most of what needed in an hour or so. I didn’t have to use its proprietary software. The drive is fast and silent. Works great. It’s faster and more responsive than my again PC’s hard drive. Been using daily since. I highly recommend it.

    I am quite disappointed from this purchase. WD is a famous brand but I don’t know what is going on with this 4TB DISK. I bought this item 2.5 years ago. I am very careful using this external disk. The other day, i started organizing my files. I spent hours and organized my files. After that, I copied all organized files to my laptop as well. The next day when i used my external disk, some folders were in original condition (i.e. unorganized) and some folders were corrupted. Thank God that i have a backup on my laptop. I am not satisfied with this disk as it is not reliable. Note that i had another issue with this about a year ago. But this new issue was worse.

    For the price, it works great and it’s convienent for extra storage instead of having to upgrade or replace the internal drive for more space. It’s plug and play. Easy to use. I highly recommend.

    I’ve bought many Passport external hard drives. I save in the cloud but I like this option as well. I bought this in a bundle but did not need to spend so much in the end when a smaller hard drive would work as well.

    I purchased this drive which failed after my first backup operation. I returned it within the return window and got a replacement. The replacement died also after the first backup so I did a warranty claim with WD. The replacement drive I received worked for one day and failed without me even running a backup. DO NOT BUY THESE. THEY ARE DEFECTIVE.

    This drive has performed reliably for nearly a year. No bad sectors. Huge storage and fast data transfer at good price. No disk drive lasts forever, but this one looks like it will give a lot of reliable service. I do power it down whenI don’t need to access its files, which is consistent with how I use it. How it would function as an always on backup disk is not as certain, but it does have (I think) a power saving spin down mode, and I would not hesitate to use it for that purpose.

    Got this for my ps5 to have all my ps4 games on and still be able to play them without having to delete and redownload games that i might want to play. Very easy to use, just plug it up and format then, download the games and good to go. You can your ps4 games right off of the drive and never use up your ps5 space.
