    Got this to go in a external enclosure so it could be storage for my DLNA service on my router. Great drive so far but I expect nothing less from WD. Been using WD drives since ATA/33 times. Currently rocking this, 2 SN770s, a SN510, an old WD external spinner and a 8tb WD black spinner. Great drives!

    Never had a problem with Western Digital hardware. Hope this lives as it’s still kicking ancient processors. A little tricky accessing the M.2 slot to install but that’s more on my motherboard.

    Bought the drive in Sept. 2022. Drive failed in October 2023. The drive failed during gaming. My system is a dual boot Windows/ Linux with Linux installed on a separate SSD. Linux is unable to read the drive and Windows is unable to boot from it. Forensic software is unable to read it. All signs point to a hardware failure that really should not have occurred 1 year into use, especially an SSD.

    It’s very fast in frequency and I also cloned my operating system and everything works quite well, the truth is, I needed it because my previous disk was already 95% full, the truth is, I recommend this product!

    Purchased for a HP laptop to replace it’s failed (conventional) hard drive. note to anyone reading this the m.2 slot held an Intel Optane module that was removed but it must be disabled in the BIOS first prior to removal.
