    I purchased the drive to see how well an SSD drive would work in my computer system. The SA510 drive works just like any hard drive with the exception being an all memory chip based drive (no platters or motor). I am going to try it in a USB SATA enclosure and use it as a fast portable drive. Western Digital makes good drives.

    Not reliable. Copied my wife’s system drive to replace an old spinning rust drive, and now it intermittently/unpredictably just stops responding, dropping down to a BIOS “No hard drive installed” error. Firmware updated to latest version. No other issues. Restarts fine. But there’s no way it should do this, and I’m thinking about replacing it with a Samsung 870.
