These are very nice, been using them for at least 3 weeks. They work great. I did zero gap them, but I didn’t see much change. They cut close, and are great for cleaning up real close to bald. Shaving your neck is good with these.

My only gripe is the sound of the motor, it’s really loud. I mean beyond normal compared to my other clippers. I would still recommend them though, because the price is just right.

I’ve been using Wahl clippers and trimmers on and off for over 40 years and like the Edge Pro, all have been well built. I can’t tell you the number of clippers and trimmers I’ve purchased trying to get the closest cut, until now.

The motor in the Edge Pro is more powerful than in my battery or rechargeable products due to it being corded. This motor moves one of the sharpest closest blades I’ve seen. Speaking of cord, Wahl has given you plenty of it, measuring in at just under 9 feet long.

For those used to going to the barbershop (oh those were the days) you may remember a small white clipper called the peanut, also by wahl. This was the first thing I thought of when I got the Edge Pro’s. Although not quite as small as the peanut, the Edge Pro’s are not what I would consider a full-size clipper. The weight gives them a nice balance and feel, not making your hand and arm tired while cutting.

While you can use the Edge Pro’s as a beard and moustache trimmer, and it works perfectly in that regard, it feels the trimmer was designed more as a hair clipper and edger/designer. I shaved each side of my head with two different clippers and my wife picked out the Edge Pro’s side as the closest shave. It’s not as smooth as a blade or foil shaver and left me with a faint amount of stubble, not quite a 5:00 shadow but perfect for those who might suffer from razor burn. The sharpness of the blades allow them to cut through the thickest hair like a hot knife through butter.

The Edge Pro comes with 12 different length blade combs, two cleaning brushes, barber shears, a hair comb, a smaller beard comb, a vial of blade oil and a satchel to carry it all. I love the larger cleaning brush and beard comb. Not so much for the rest of the items. To start with, the satchel to hold everything is just a little too small so you have to cram everything in it. The long hard comb just barely fits. Like most wahl products, the combs are sharp and scratchy to the scalp when used.

At the end of the day, the Wahl Edge Pro clippers are definitely worth their price. They have the closest clipper cut I’ve ever had. I gave four stars for the poorly designed carry pouch and cheap feeling blade combs.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

REVIEW: WAHL EDGE PRO CORDED TRIMMER/SHAVER – BLACK MODEL:09686-300

    Best Buy Tech Insider Network

GREAT TRIMMER BUT SEE BOX PICS FOR IDEAL STYLE

What can you say about a company that has been doing their thing for something like one hundred years. I think they know what they are doing. When the pandemic got “REAL” WAHL was the first name I turned to in order to purchase a quality built long lasting large heavy duty clipper for do it myself haircuts and for my family (I overpaid by 3X in spring of 2020, but at least I got one). My only complaint about the bigger heavy duty unit is that it is hard to do precise trimming by yourself, so that had me looking at other WAHL products like the WAHL EDGE PRO.

My goal with the WAHL EDGE PRO was to give me something that weighed less, was easier to handle / maneuver, and make it easier to trim key areas of my sideburns, moustache and sometimes beard.

What I like about the WAHL EDGE PRO is that it is a powerful (AC) WAHL product with real heavy duty blades. It is also about half the weight of its big brother clippers. I was surprised that the width of the blade is nearly as wide as the full size clippers, so keep in mind that it might not be perfectly suited for fine detail work without perfect dexterity. It is less of a “detail trimmer” and more of “straight line trimmer”. I had assumed it would be about half as wide for more detailed trim work. However, the lower overall weight makes for a good compromise from a full size clipper.

    PRO’s
    – Compact Size
    – About a Dozen Length Attachments/Guards
    – Included Soft Carrying Case
    – Plug in Use for higher power (Vs Rechargeable)
    – Affordable Blade Sharpening and Replacement Program
    – Includes brushes combs and scissors
    – Long Power Cord

    USE RESULTS & TESTING
My needs are pretty basic. I wanted better control over trimming than a full sized clipper. I did try a “rough” stubble shave and had no problems. I used this primarily for clean ups around the ears, sideburns, and moustache, as well as detailed trimming after a full haircut.

It performs well, it seems study, I expect it to last forever with proper care like other WAHL trimmers/clippers that I have owned and used. It could be used for a full haircut, but I don’t feel that is what it is really designed or recommended for. For my use with a focus on trimming, I would like the blade a little narrower. I had problems using the WAHL EDGE PRO to trim my moustache. The wide blade is best for straight lines. It is harder to follow a natural mouth curve (think of a straight line or maybe inverted ‘V’ instead of inverted ‘U’).
With the attachments (for example ¼ inch #3) the blade is too deep (front to back) so if you are shaving “up” toward the nose, you end up jabbing your nose with sharp ends of the attachments. If you try to shave “down” towards your mouth, then you can’t get close enough under your nose. In short there is no way to “trim” to an even length the top 1/3 of your full height moustache.

Similarly, if you are trying to follow the curves around your ears, the blades are just too wide. I was able to blend in my haircut (already completed with the big clippers) a little easier with the WAHL EDGE PRO, but you still can’t make clean curved cuts. It did work well for straightening and blending my sideburns.

The only other concern I have is that the attachments are a little flimsy (as compared to the full size clippers attachments). There is a lot of play back and forth on the “teeth” of the attachments. I don’t have a full size beard, but if you had a heavy beard, I would worry that it would be hard to push the attachments through the beard because there is so much “give” in the teeth of the attachments. The manual does say to comb you beard out ahead of time, so maybe that would make it easier.

    SUMMARY / CONCLUSION / RECOMMENDATION

The WAHL EDGE PRO is a good high quality and long lasting Trimmer / Shaver.

Look at the pictures on the box, and that gives you a representation of the ideal cut for which the WAHL EDGE PRO is best suited. If the box pictures are not your style, then you may need something different. The WAHL EDGE PRO trimmer is exactly perfectly suited for the cut shown on the box. (eg short wire thin mustache, long straight lines, nothing curved) and wide margins from ears, nose, mouth, etc.

Overall, it is well built and affordable. It deserves a good rating for what it is. It just depends upon how you want to use it, as to whether it will be right for you. For an “all in one” device it does a good job overall. For my needs, I think I need a narrower trimmer. I do see they sell a $10 attachment on the WAHL website for narrow trimming, so I may give that a shot as well.

I truly was elated to review one of Wahl’s great products as they have been a staple in the grooming community for many years! A community college that I am closely connected to has a career technical program that offers both barbering and cosmetology students opportunities to acquire their licenses after completion of the program. Many barbering students have within their barbering kits Wahl’s shavers; as a result, they provide their clients top-notched haircuts.

Also, I am elated that this shaver is unisex as I used it to trim my edges as I wear a lot of pin-up styles. The results I have received thus far are wonderful as the trims are easy on my hairline in addition to being smooth as well. I also like the fact that there are a variety of guards to choose from. The trimmers feel good in the hand as they are light in weight.

I am sure that I will get many years of usage out of this AWESOME product. My hat truly goes off to Wahl for their continuance to be at the forefront in the grooming industry!

  5. CrKeehn

This trimmer replaces a cordless one I was using. I love the convenience of a corded trimmer, not having to plan ahead to ensure the trimmer is charged and ready; being able to trim my beard whenever I feel.
The trimmer comes well outfitted with accessories, a series of trimming combs, a barbers comb and scissors, two cleaning brushes, light machine oil and a convenient travel pouch. The power cord is long enough to provide the user with freedom of movement and the broad trimming blades give you a smooth and comfortable trim.
The trimmer does an excellent job with my beard, trimming it smoothly and evenly. Remove the trimming comb and the trimmer provides a clean and even edge for my mustache.

We bought one of Wahl’s pricier (but still budget-friendly) home haircut kits at least 10 years ago to save on the costs of constant haircuts necessary to maintain military grooming standards. That kit is still cutting today as effortlessly and cleanly as it did the day we opened it. Now enter the Wahl Edge Pro Trimmer/Shaver–what ostensibly looks like an updated but smaller, easier-to-pack, easier-to-maneuver version of its bigger brother that still manages to be a do-it-all appliance for all kinds of hair trimming/cutting needs. Does the end result actually warrant a purchase…well, maybe so–depending on your needs.

Let’s start with the good stuff. The Edge Pro has a pretty stylish but svelte form factor with an all-plastic build for the main body–the top features a black, carbon fiber-feel inlay accented by two saucy stripes of metallic red. The power switch is comfortably down near the bottom which makes it very easy to hold and maneuver with one hand without feeling like you’re constantly battling against, or in danger of inadvertently hitting, the switch. The motor feels reasonably powerful for a unit of its size and thankfully the trimmer does not get hot during extended operation the way its larger sibling sometimes can. The blades are removable for servicing or replacement, and the shaver head itself is T-shaped at the cutting edge to provide a slightly wider cutting surface area than its otherwise thin and diminutive form factor would afford. The kit includes 12 cutting combs and guides of various sizes/depths for trimming and cutting hair, mustaches and sideburns along with two combs, a pair of scissors, and two cleaning brushes, as well as a bit of blade oil–all with a handy, color-coordinated carrying case that closes with an elastic band. The small form factor makes the Edge Pro very easy to manipulate if you’re giving yourself a trim and the blade seems to do a decent job of cutting long, straight edges in a beard (when I grew one on extended leave) or sideburns (which I have to maintain regularly). Everything in the kit (even the instructions if you need them) crams into the carrying case, and the end result is small enough to be easily stashed in an overnight bag or even a backpack, yet still provides you a full-range of hair cutting/trimming capabilities if the need arises. Longevity is unknown at this point (obviously), but if our other Wahl trimmers/cutters are any indication, this little unit should survive years of service if properly maintained.

That said, I don’t know as I’d purchase the Edge Pro as my ONLY option for hair trimming and cutting. The cutting teeth themselves get the job done; but they are relatively small, especially compared to a full-sized pair of clippers. In truth, they aren’t that much bigger than the cutting teeth in a pop-up trimmer on an electric razor–as such, I sometimes had to make several passes along the same areas of my head to snip all the hairs I was after. The black plastic cutting guides are also a bit spongy and thin compared to the solid and beefier guides on our full-sized Wahl. I suppose that can be forgiven because of the size of this unit, and the guides do hold the trimmer at the proper height, but they bend and flex enough during use that if you’re applying some pressure to keep the trimmer straight on the top or side of your head, you might actually experience some give and end up trimming at *slightly* different heights in some areas (ask me how I know). This would probably not be an issue with practice and repeated use, but if you have a VERY heavy beard or need to cut a large amount of hair–as opposed to just a trim, mustache maintenance, or some beard edging, which are what this unit seems more ideally suited to–you may have to finesse your trimmer about more than you might otherwise be used to. The size of the blade is also a factor in performance–because the blade is simply narrower than a full-sized unit, it made for a bit longer session at the sink to complete a full haircut than I’m used to. Again, this can probably be forgiven in all fairness because you know up front you’re getting a smaller unit; but again, it’s something to keep in mind if you have designs on using all those attachments to make the Edge Pro a do-it-all trimmer. Finally, and this is just a small nitpick, the included carrying case could use a zipper, some buttons, or just a bit more overlap between the two sides of the center opening. Yes, there’s a large outer flap that folds over the entire case to cover the opening and keep the contents in check, but the two edges underneath the flap don’t close tightly or even overlap, and the opening itself extends slightly beyond the edges of the fold-over flap. With just a bit of handling, I noticed at least one cutting guide starting to work itself loose and stick out from under the flap (which only secures by a single elastic band around the middle). Again, this is a very minor issue; but if you’re constantly packing, unpacking, and transporting the entire kit, you might find that a smaller item, like the cleaning brush or bottle of blade oil, might eventually work itself loose and fall out of the case.

Don’t get me wrong…the Edge Pro is a fine product and is certainly a bargain at its selling price, but it feels a bit like Wahl tried just slightly too hard to market this kit as if it could do EVERYTHING its bigger brothers can. Now…I suppose that’s kind of true–with all the included cutting guides and other accessories, it DOES have most of the capabilities of a larger, full-sized Wahl trimmer/cutter, but I don’t think I’d reach for it regularly if I had lots of heavy-duty hair cutting on the agenda. I am also slightly perplexed why Wahl included “shaver” in the product’s name. I mean…the cutting teeth are appreciably larger/longer than those on the pop-up trimmers from any of my electric razors, so I don’t see how you could reasonably or closely “shave” any part of your face, body or head with the Edge Pro. In fact, short of a rough cut-down of an unruly beard, trimming out a large swathe of body hair for surgery or a swim meet, or maybe just giving yourself a preliminary/stubbly haircut before getting down to a shiny scalp with a straight razor, I’m at a bit of a loss as to how this unit could be considered a shaver in the first place. Maybe I’m hung up on semantics, missing something obvious, or perhaps I’m simply not the target demographic for this product and “Shaver” means something different to Wahl (and others). Regardless–for hair and beard trimming, shaping, and edging; or for sideburns, mustaches, or small area maintenance; or maybe just for the occasional haircut on the go, the Edge Pro is definitely a more elegant, handy, and travel-friendly solution than a full-sized trimmer/cutter any day. Recommended so long as you’re clear what you’re getting into…

Wahl has become a must have accessory in my home for keeping up with haircuts and styling. I have had other brands, and I’m happy with the product Wahl puts out for quality and durability.

This particular set is pretty nice as I trust the corded clippers the most for reliability and ensuring a steady amount of power to cut hair. This is a nice looking set of clippers and fits well in the hand without being overly bulky. The blades are stainless steel and I expect them to stay in good shape for years to come. You get yourself 12 blade guards here, a case, scissors, and beard brush. All the essentials you need to maintain your look or give haircuts to others.

The clippers work really well as I cut my hair at home and held up to the task well. Smoothly cuts the hair and the guards fit snug on the head of the clippers. When you need to do some outlining and edge work it gives you a precise cut and nice lines. It can be a bit aggressive on the cut when you cut without a guard and my neckline really got skin burned. It could be user error, but my previous clippers never irritated my skin this much when I cut without a guard on them.

Overall a nice set of hair clippers with everything you need for ultra close cutting.

    PRO:
    Corded power
    Close cutting
    Compact design

    CON:
Blade can irritate skin with close shaving

Love this trimmer. My hair is not particularly curly, but it is very thick and course and I regularly get it snagged or pulled when cutting with other trimmers. This trimmer cut right through my hair without any problem.

It comes with a whole set of guides in a variety of lengths. They don’t go super long, so if that is what you are looking for you may need to buy some additional guides in the lengths you want. However, you can’t expect a set of clippers to give you every length in existence and you get most of the basic lengths you would expect.

The clippers also worked great on trimming my facial hair and just for kicks I ran it along my legs to see how it handles a really long cut without stopping. It performed flawlessly without any pain or pulling. Really not much more I can ask from a set of clippers.

  9. MGoose

I use this trimmer to trim and edge my beard as well as shave my head (no guide). It has plenty of power and the cut is very even and smooth with no pulling. I appreciate the useful included accessories, which work well (my favorites are the longer brush and scissors).

    Pros
    – Includes a variety of guards (8 long from 1/8” – 1” and 4 short from 1/16” – 1/4”), carrying case, 2 combs, 2 brushes, scissors, and blade oil.
    – Uses other standard Wahl attachments (this was great for me, because I was able to use the detailer attachment from my old battery powered Wahl groomer that has started to slow down after 5 years).
    – Long cord. I didn’t want another battery powered trimmer, because that always seemed to be what eventually killed my old ones. I was worried the cord would be in the way, but the cord is longer than I need and I can comfortably use it with no issue (I have an outlet 2ft from my sink and the cord is around 6ft long).
    – Blades cut well and the long guards produced an even cut with just a few passes.
    – It is a good size and weight, with a curved to the back that fits your hand well. The case is hard plastic, so it is easy to clean, but it has just enough texture so that it is not slippery if you keep it clean.
    – On/Off switch has a solid click and is easy to operate. Attachments click in and fit tightly.

    Things to Consider
    – The included case holds the trimmer well, but due to the length of the cord it will not accommodate all the included pieces. There is plenty of room for a few of your favorite guards and a brush, which works great for me.
    – The steel blades need oil occasionally (included) and you need to make sure they are dry after use to prevent rust. Brushing them off is all the cleaning that is needed, but you might notice there are still a few hairs that slipped down between the blades and the trimmer body – I just remove it and gently tap it, but you will not get them all and you don’t want to remove the grease that lubricates the head that powers the blades.
    – I will be ordering a few more short guards since the included set only goes up to 1/4”. I normally keep my beard and mustache 3/8” – 1/2”, but the long guard is hard to use on my mustache (my nose gets in the way).
    – The included ‘T’ shaped blade is a little big for trimming some curved edges and I prefer the detail attachment for this – I already had one from an older Wahl, but I recommend getting one. I am also considering ordering the nose trimmer attachment (I wish these two items were included, but this is already a great value so buying them separately is no big deal).

  10. BillK

Needed a trimmer for cleaning up my cut. This one does the trick very well. Large number of attachments and cuts cleanly. I like that it is corded for power so the speed remains consistent. I would recommend it.

  11. Pauliff

I have used this for the past three weeks. Lots of different trimmer guides. I am able to keep a close shave without nicks or tears or grabbing. The device states quality 100%. It is corded but I find the cord to not be intrusive. Close trimming doesn’t make me cringe. I have used trimmers in the past which did a so so job. This is lightweight and yet does such a great job.

  12. Patrick

The Wahl Edge Pro Corded Trimmer/Shaver does what it is supposed to do, and honestly, does it quite well. The blades are sharp and cut with no pulling or snagging. I have used it several times to shave my head, and have had great results every time. The blades cut straight, and do so with minimal noise.

There are several different accessories included…about a dozen different sized cutting guards, scissors, cleaning brush, travel bag, comb, and clipper oil.

As a kid, my mom cut our hair with Wahl clippers. They did a great job, and I know they lasted at least 20 years. As I look back, I remember that the guards and all the other accessories were of extremely superior quality. The guards were heavy duty, and durable. That being said, I expected the same with this Wahl product. The unit itself is sturdy, feels good in the hand, and appears as though it may last quite a long time. However, the quality of the accessories is nowhere near that of its predecessors. One thing I need to point out is that the head unit came off several times when I attempted to change guards. It is a bit difficult to replace, and aggravating. I looked closely at the unit and realized it is somewhat of a design flaw in the way the head attaches to the body. So other than the quality of the accessories and the head issue, I was very please with the overall performance of the clippers.

When it is all said and done, I would recommend these clippers to anyone who needs a good all-around set of trimmers. And these are, after all, trimmers and not designed to be used as a full-sized set of clippers.

  13. Ernesto

Wahl’s newest trimmer the Edge Pro Corder trimmer/shaver is just good enough to get the job done but it also comes with its shortcomings.

I have been cutting my own hair for a few years now, I’m not an expert but I have gotten quite good at it.

I do own a couple of other hair trimmers but I don’t own small compact hair clippers like this one, which having something small like this that I can cut ultra close does come in handy.

It won’t cut as close as shaving, but definitely gets you a smoother cut then bigger clippers.
I will definitely be using these clippers to line myself up, the clipper itself is well-made and well-designed, it feels very heavy duty in my hand.

My problem with this set is that the individual blade guards feel very cheap and flimsy, I do have a need for these clippers like I mentioned because of how close they cut but I don’t recommend them being as you’re only clippers for everything.

  14. Keirmeister

I cut my own hair – I’ve done it for many, many years at this point. When you think of hair clippers, Wahl is a leader.

But this trimmer just didn’t make the cut for me (oof.)

Yes, it’s lightweight. But it also feels cheap and unsubstantial. Maybe that was to help with the maneuverability, but if that were the goal, the trimmer could have at least been cordless. I also found it a bit cumbersome for touch-up areas – mainly because I think a smaller clipper head would have been more effective. But maybe it’s also because the trimmer is LOUD…too loud for something this small. What’s interesting is that with the loudness came a slight vibration to the whole unit that, while not a big deal for trimming larger areas, becomes a bit more difficult to control for detailed work.

How well does it actually cut? Not bad. in this area, the trimmers were totally fine, worked well and gave a close cut. The addition of a bunch of extension clips and a carrying case are also nice touches.

But in the end, the trimmer just didn’t feel like it lived up to the quality I usually expect from Wahl.

  15. Samrio

I like to keep my head shaved. Over the years my hair line has clearly retreated, and it’s just been a look I’ve kept since High School. Since then, I’ve gone through maybe four trimmers, two of which were Wahl, and the others using fancy Ceramic blades. I had never tried a “T-blade” style trimmer before, but was curious about the closeness of the shave.

In the box, you’ll find numerous accessory size attachments, combs, brushes, some oil for the trimmer, the trimmer with cord attached, the helpful manuals, and a carrying case for it all to store in. I was impressed with the numerous size attachments, which simply snap on and off as you need them. In my case, I’ve gone through two of the pricier trimmers that promise close shaves, and never needing to replace the blades. Until they broke, and the next began degrading in performance.

This trimmer has one button, and that’s the power toggle switch. The handle has a nice curve, and a spot where you can rest your index finger to allow for a better grip. It has a nice red chrome like accent piece, with a carbon fiber like insert on the top that runs down the middle. The blade is bit smaller than my previous trimmers, so it was impressive to see just how close this thing shaved.

I don’t use razors to shave my head, but with this trimmer, I’m not sure I’m ever going to need it. It got close, and the cuts lasted longer. It’s easy to clean, as the blade pops off, allowing you to clean out any hair that may have made it inside. The included attachments make trimming my beard easy, with a perfect size 3. A quick shake of the handle, and any excess hair captured quickly falls out. With my last trimmer, it was a constant stop to remove the attachment and clean the blade to continue my trims. I didn’t have to do that once in my last two shaves.

I can’t recommend this trimmer enough. I’m really impressed with my shaves, I’ve since retired my last trimmer, which required new blades anyhow.

  16. Xfactor1

These clippers do not cut close enough. I would not recommend these to anyone.

  17. BADog

Wahl has a nice trimmer/shaver package that won’t break the bank and has plenty to offer. The package comes with the Wahl Edge Pro trimmer, full-size comb, mustache/beard comb/guard, scissors, 2 bristle cleaning brushes, oil, 12 guards, travel pouch, and instruction manual. Wahl offers a 5-year limited warranty for the trimmer.

    PROS:
    ———–
    * Very lengthy cord at approximately 8.5 feet. It has some good reach.
    * Nice look. Has the carbon fiber look on top with crimson red trim
    * Extremely sharp blades.
    * It does a nice job of cutting facial hair down to a very short length with complete ease. The cutting blades cut though coarse facial hair as though it wasn’t there. The motor is for real. I used on my facial hair with no guards – see one of my pictures for cut closeness.
    * This Pro unit has plenty of cutting guards to pick from along with 2 cleaning brushes. The accessories are many, so you should have whatever option you need here available.
    * The travel pouch is a nice touch and it holds everything in the package. It will be completely full, especially after all of the 8.5 feet of power cable is wound up and inserted. The elastic band holds it all together nicely. If traveling, you can take only the guards and accessories you want, and you should have a bit more room in the pouch for storage.

    CONS:
    ———–
    * I have had a couple of trimmers in the past, but these are quite a bit sharper on the skin, and perhaps the design is supposed to be that way. If trimming without a guard, it doesn’t appear it will cut you, but feels like it might because the end is so thin and sharp. This might cause some discomfort and unease if the skin you are shaving is baby-like or soft/smooth. Someone with sensitive skin may need a guard.
    * I’m unsure of a better place for the power switch (the unit is so small and compact) but a couple of times I have accidentally turned off the unit due to the location of the power switch. I like the look and simplicity of the switch, but the location might could be improved or a better way to keep from turning off.
    * Though the cutting guards are plenty, there are rather flimsy but are made of a more rubbery material than plastic, so that should extend the life of each guard. They just feel cheap – but at this price point, I would say that is acceptable.
    * As sharp as these blades are, even when the unit is off, a protective cap would be nice to have.

    OTHER OBSERVATIONS:
    ———————–
    * I only used for my facial hair, and for testing purposes, I used the guards to cut some leg hair. I did not use on my head, but I’m certain it would cut with ease based on how it cut everything else. The guards worked fine and clipped on/off with no issues.

    CONCLUSION:
    =====================
Overall, this little trimmer/shaver by Wahl packs a huge punch with strong motor and sharp blades. I have switched (for now) to this trimmer over my cordless one because of the ease in which it cuts through my coarse facial hair to a very short length. Just be wary of softer/sensitive skin users. At this price point, for what you get in accessories and travel pouch, this is a great product, and you never have to worry about the battery dying since it’s corded. There are pros and cons for corded vs cordless, but for a corded trimmer, this would be a great pick for sure.

My personal opinion is that I didn’t like it. It may be broken cause it makes lot of sound. It didn’t cut the hair or shave well in my opinion.

Clean cut, many adjustments, long enough cord and so don’t have to worry about charging or getting half way through shaving. Corded trimmer/shavers are harder to find so glad there was this one with so many accessories.

Hard to find a corded trimmer but this one is reliable. Good for beards etc. Very easy to use & adjust. Only knock on it is it’s LOUD.

I was tired of buying batteries for my cordless trimmer, so I opted for this one. So far so good. Pulls my face hair sometimes, which isn’t great, but overall I’d recommend this beard trimmer.

  33. Prinju

Works great. Light weight. Good for lining and detailing.

  34. LoveApple

These clippers are non operational after just a few months of use. I attempted to contact wahl almost 6 months ago, and they never responded.

Best shaver that my husband has chosen yet. He always wanted rechargeable but gets frustrated when the battery no longer holds a charge. This does the job and he never has a problem with it.

I have literally been using these particular Wahl clippers for year’s now i usually always shave my head but on the day’s i don’t feel like shaving and i hsve nubs using these clippers are the next best thing to shaving. Now i have used all brands of clippers but nothing compares to this Wahl brand and they will last you a very long time as long as you take care of them by oiling the blade and keeping it clean and they are truly the best.

  48. DavidA

Shaves closely but with some noise. Also cable is not built solidly to last. Becareful how you twist the cable during use.
