    I think this product is an unnessesary piece
    In this case.
    My auto is too old for the technology
    I have no power window or lock
    However i do not know if it is in my car
    It may have been required for install.

    Great for adding power locks to a vehicle or integrating with existing locks on older vehicles. Way easier and more compact than using 2 separate relays. Can handle 2 actuators (15 amp max on the relay). Perfect for alarms and remote starts

    I purchased this for a 99 crown victoria and it said it was comparable. First my install was pushed back several times all for me to get there today and for them to tell they couldnt do the install because I didnt have both master keys which the wedsite never said. I read the reviews throughly and it said nothing of the sort. This was purchased back in May, it is now June 4th way beyond the return period. Absolutely absurd!

    THE REMOTE START/LOCK PRODUCT/W INSTALLATION IS WORKING AS EXPECTED. HOWEVER, THE BLOWER FAN DOES NOT WORK AFTER THE INSTALL OF PRODUCT, THE TECHNICIAN DENIES ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THIS AND I FEEL HE IS NOT BEING TRUTHFUL IN THIS MATTER, AND I FEEL I HAVE BEEN WRONGED HEREIN AND LEFT WITH A PROBLEM CAUSED BY HIM… THE BLOWER DID WORK PRIOR TO THE INSTALL OF THE REMOTE PRODUCT OF BEST BUY. SINCERELY, DONALD GENE NELSON.

    sooo…i mean. ok..so hyundia discontinued its bluelink services on models older than 2018 i believe, which included remote start. So, being a sucker for convenience , i heard about Best Buy selling & installing remote start equipment. So they initially told me the install would take about 2hrs-2hrs30 min. The install ended up taking over 5 hours & I had to call a friend to come get me because I don’t live in the same city as the best buy. And the guy was making it VERY known to me that the install was difficult, as if there was something I could do about it. So all in all, I guess it was worth it , esp with the warranty, but there is a HORRIBLE glitch. If you lock the car with the original fob, it will start the car. It has done this 3 times since i’ve had it. So i’m sure thats not the only glitch and thats scary to think that your car could just be running without your knowledge. I found that out on my own , there was no mention of that by the techs.

    My particular vehicle did not use this Voxx relay but I do know they are reliable and functional. My Hyundai Sante Fe required in line resistors to complete keyless entry. Very impressive that Installation Specialist was educated about this so I don’t have any malfunctions!

    I now have power door locks, couldn’t be happier. Only one small complaint, its super loud when it unlocks and locks. I was at an intersection and saw a suspicious person, I was too nervous to lock my car doors because of how loud it is, it would definitely draw that person’s attention, so i kept my hand on my key fob ready to lock is necessary. Ended up locking it once the light turned green. Although hearing the sound of my doors lock as I walk away from my car is a sense of security for me, the loud sound reassures me that my doors are locked.

    If your vehicle has electric locks this will be needed in order to lock your car before it starts. ( it can be left out so it doesn’t lock your car )
