this sound bar is the very best i have ever heard.i have it in a med size bed room i turned into a mini home theater room,i had a big klispch system in there with 2 12 inch subs a pioneer reciever, it was over kill for that room too much bottom end.i have a 2000 dollar sony soundbar in my living room the 600 dollar vizio blows it away i made a big mistake getting the sony.the vizio has plenty of punch and great clariety you can hear all of the dialog very loud and clearthe sub is perfect it does not break up or distort even when up all the way i keep it on a little over half way, movies sound great music sounds good,i will tell all my friends to buy it if they need a new soundbar,i mounted the surround sound speakers on the wall behind my couch about 7 inches above my head the sound great and are not overbearing

The soundbar sounds good but the main issue I’ve had with it was getting audio to work correctly. In trying to get Atmos to be processed by the sound bar I’ve had to enable audio passthrough on the TV. However enabling passthrough would not always work. After trying to disconnect and reconnect multiple times I was eventually able to get it to work. Unfortunately it seems to have reverted the ability to select the passthrough setting again and I’m unaware if this is an issue with my Samsung TV, the soundbar, or HDMI eARC. Either way that part is a bummer but when it’s working it’s good.

Best bang for the buck. Good enough surround sound for my small living room. Does glitch a bit through a long movie. The sound will cut out for a couple of seconds but comes right back. Was looking into $1800 system but this was a nobrainer for $600.

The M Series Elevate 5.1.2 was an excellent value. I returned it because it overpowered my small space. It echoed and was difficult to hear dialogue. It would be great in a larger environment.

Our previous sound system died. My husband did a lot of research to decide on our next system. He found that his was a great system within our price point so we went to purchase it. And WOW! Am I glad we did! This system is insane. The sounds and effects come through clearly and make you feel like you’re fully immersed in the film or show you’re watching. It was super easy to set up and start using. We bought this as an open box and were not disappointed at all. 10/10 would buy again!

Excellent soundbar for the price! I bought a JBL 800 bar initially but it had issues and a friend recommended Vizio M series , This was pretty simple to setup , sound quality is top notch, quality of the materials seems to be pretty good too ! Only down side is that its not WiFi compatible!

Sounds great overall! Occasional format issues, for example, all speaking will come out of right rear speaker. Another example of format issues being volume control while streaming from certain apps. However, once you figure out settings according to the media you’re watching it sounds great.

This is the one sound bar that will not work unless us reset it evert time you turn on your TV, The fix from Vizio is to reset it and now that it works its fixed. Don’t buy it. What good is the sound if you have to reset the system every time you turn it on. Kids and the wife have to be trained. DON’T BUY IT

I love the Vizio soundbar,,, butt,,, on different movies, I cannot crank it up, because Vizio has a popping problem in the sound. Some movies, are great sounding with no popping sounds. I’ve checked into several websites, and Vizio admits to the problem. I still love Best Buy, and come back.

This is a great soundbar and surround sound system. We upgraded our older Vizio system and have been impressed with this. It did take a minute to tweak the TV and Roku settings to get it all to work, but it’s been great.
Only quirk is that our Roku remote sometimes messes up the soundbar volume where turning the volume up 1 notch on the Roku remote will turn the soundbar up 10 notches. Then if you click down, it goes all the way down. Assuming this is a software/firmware issue betweek Roku and Vizio as this also happened with our older soundbar, too. Hoping it can be fixed in an upcoming software update for the TV. Nevertheless, great system!

I purchased this so I had an option to listening to something other than the blaring TV of my upstairs neighbor. I also wanted to be able to connect an older turntable, as it’s been sitting unused for a while and I have many vinyls. The Vizio sound bar system was incredibly simple to set up, and I’m shocked at how powerful the subwoofer is, even if I reduce the bass. Ha! Take that, neighbors! I actually may buy a pad to absorb the sub a bit…just so I’m not a total B.

This product is absolutely amazing! I have only ever owned Vizio soundbars. This one is far better than any I have owned! When you are watching something that has Dolby Atmos audio, you can really tell. It gets louder and the sound really moves throughout the room. The sub has nice, deep rumbles, without any distortion. It is also one of the best sounding soundbars when playing music on it through bluetooth. I am extremely impressed with it. I recommend it to anyone!

After the wife complaining about my AV surround system taking up so much room for the past years i decided to look into sound bars. I was very skeptical about soundbars knowing AV sounds so much better so i can in to this expecting disappointment, well I was wrong. This system sounds amazing out of the box never mind after tuning it and setting it up. I see a lot of people saying atmos doesn’t work, remember you need atmos capable streaming device and movie to have it.
Make sure before doing anything to go to vizio website and locate support and enter the SN located on it and download the latest firmware its very easy to install just follow the directions
You can have up firing speakers 24/7 just make sure on the remote to hit effect, then go to elevate make sure it is on UP and press ok.
I highly recommend this setup for someone who doesn’t want to break the bank.
