Awesome soundbar, especially for the price. Great quality sound and very easy to set up. Movies sound so much better now.

Solid sound. Surround speaks are surprisingly solid, watching Private Ryan you have bullets whizzing past your head! Haven’t had a chance to demo a true atmos experience yet, but upfiring speaks help create a balanced sound field. Soundbars are ridiculous expensive, coming close in price to a component system which is absurd, in my opinion. For $350 on sale– this was a great buy that i would confidently recommend. We bought this for my girlfriend’s apartment, i have Klipsch RP system connected to a weak dennon AVR, and while the vizio can’t fairly complete, it gets the job done. Also a key value is that you can customize the sound field easily with the included remote

Purchased this 5.1.2 system due to the many favorable reviews and let me say upon setting it up I was sooo pleased with the immersive soundscape.the impossibly powerful and tight sub…and the very clear vocals that it sounded like a system that cost well over a grand! Played the intro to Blade runner 2049 and the bass shook the floor at only half setting! Don’t sleep on this truly marvelous system y’all…Well worth the $$$$

This Vizio Sound Bar has upgraded our TV and Music listening experience at home. It is very easy and intuitive to install. I don’t give it 5 stars because it would have been better if it had included pedestals for the rear speakers.

I have tested both the Vizio 5.1 and 5.1.2 speakers. This speaker system is much more atheistically pleasing and has up-firing speakers. The rear speakers and subwoofer are the same as the 5.1 system, but the sound bar physical quality is much greater here than the 5.1 system. Both Vizio sound bars are great for the right price and I would totally recommend this product for a first timer or even someone that knows about speakers already.

This system is very good for it’s price, the subwoofer is very punchy and the speakers are clear. This is the first dolby atmos system that I’ve owned and im really impressed by it, im pretty sure is not the best, specially since i have tried a couple more expensive options, but is good enough to enjoy movies at home. If you play games like me you’ll be turning your head a couple of times during gaming sessions. Overall very good purchase, no complaints.

Sounds good for a sound bar, and the surround speakers and subwoofer do a good job of helping to fill the room and it give it a big sound, but the main sound bar has a slightly hollow sound at times, likely due to a lack of mid-low range, just above where the sub kicks in. Overall I’m happy with it, just dont expect it to match a true 5.1 set up.

Purchased this Vizio soundbar with apprehension- being convinced that it will not sound as good as a multi speaker setup. This particular model has rear satellite speakers which connect to the subwoofer which in turn is wirelessly connected to the soundbar. Setup couldnt be any easier. Having a couple more speakers to the mix really gives u an immersive almost true surround experience. A wonderful 3D sound experience for the price. This retailed originally for $600 but got it for $350. It was a bit over my budget but I’m grateful for the Vizio purchase. At high volumes, the midrange can get a little sharp but can be fixed with some equalizer adjustments. This is in a small room, I’m not sure how it wld fare in a larger one. So far I’m very satisfied with my soundbar.

The sound is very good from this unit, and it was fairly easy to set up. There are a couple of things to keep in mind. First, not many streaming services “broadcast” in Dolby Atmos. You may also need to subscribe to a higher price tier to get this, as is the case with Netflix. Also, even if you pay the higher price, most shows are not coded in Atmos. Now, if you are playing a 4K DVD that features Atmos, you are in good shape. But for most of your TV watching, you are not getting the Atmos sound, so no value added for this unit, compared to others.
Second, the surround speakers are hard wired to the subwoofer (which is wireless). So, if you want your subwoofer near your TV but still want rear surround, you will need to hide the audio cables. These are not simply speaker wires, but a type of RCA connector-based set of wires. They are fairly long, so that would not be an issue.

Bought this open-box but would but for full price if I had too. Sound is amazing! Gets loud for just a large room with plenty of thump from the sub. The sub does not draw focus from dialogues. No connection issues and seamless setup. The only issue I have had is connecting it to my Google Nest but that isn’t something important for me to knock a star off.

Very good and quality soundbar with 5.1.2 Dolby atmos surround sound under $400 price. Sound quality is premium in small spaces like bedroom or small media rooms. I have connected it to my projector with HDMI eARC and can experience atmos experience in very good standards. I would recommend it for small to medium spaces for sound lovers.

For the price point this offers a lot of bang for buck. Dolby Atmos certainly can be heard, and even just playing music is a great experience. Stupidly easy to use straight out of the box, just plug and play! Can’t push the volume too crazy loud, but 95% of the time its perfect for movies, video games, and sports!

This sound bar has fairly good sound, and options that are actually usable instead of s typical gimmick. My issue however is the subwoofer cuts out which causes the two rear channel speakers to do the same. Highly disappointing. I’ve owned 4 Vizio Soundbars, and 6 Vizio TV’s. This issue may make me consider elsewhere because I installed it into my living room, and the hassle is upsetting.

What you get for this price is a great sounding, easy to use package that melds nicely into pretty much any home environment. I set me up easily with me bedroom TV with a single supplied HDMI cable. It set up and interfaced in a matter of minutes. Been enjoying it ever since.
