I bought this blender in hopes of making my bullet proof coffee, tough cookies no hot coffee for you. This cup does not take hot liquids what so ever and after spending 300-500 on a blender you would assume you can blend what ever you please in them and their accessories.

We already have a Vita Mix blender and have always used one for at home smoothies, soups, and other culinary delights. The traveler cup is double walled with a very sturdy lid. We did not get the blender lid because we just plan to use this for beverages on the go.
