After going back and forth between this 36in Viking range and 36 in Thermidor range, I am so happy to have picked this range! I have cooked on stovetop, boiled pasta water, baked and broiled…. hands down a great choice for any kitchen. A splurge but well worth it!❤️❤️❤️

This is my first Viking range and I have to say, I am extremely impressed. I kind of wish I could afford the dual fuel version (electric oven/gas burners) but I didn’t think the extra $5000 was worth it. For all but the most serious of bakers, the convection oven should be enough. This range has made cooking so much more enjoyable and has me trying all sorts of recipes. The grates are easy to remove and clean and I love the extra cooking space that the 36” model gives me. Not a huge deal in the age of the smart phone, but I did wonder why a professional grade range didn’t have a built in timer. 5 stars regardless

We had this oven for less than a week and the top center burners don’t ignite and the oven wouldn’t always heat up. Because we had our kitchen redone and our backsplash didn’t arrive right away, we didn’t have the oven hooked up Immediately after delivery. So we ended up being a week past our return window and when we called to explain Pacific said it was our problem. It was interesting because the Viking refrigerator and dishwasher also had issues.

I recently upgraded all my appliances to Viking. I think I have made an expensive mistake. So far, I’ve had issues with my range, my dishwasher and my french door oven. I will review the range here.
I have just had the Viking technician at my house for the 4th time. He tested the oven on my range (as well as on the french door oven) as it hasn’t been cooking well. The thermostats on both ovens were so far off that he couldn’t calibrate them and he’s having to replace them both. This is not okay on expensive Viking appliances.
The cooktop itself has been fine and is easy to clean and the power boil works as advertised.
The only good thing I can say about Viking right now is that their service has been good.

Yes it is spendy. But: the flame is finely tunable and you can boil water FAST on the extra powerful burner. The oven is true and the racks glide so smoothly. It is beautiful to look at. If you are looking for professional grade, this is a winner.

The range came with a dent on the front and after installation I noticed that the Owen door was uneven. When you purchase sorting that is expensive you expect it to be in perfect condition, very disappointing. After installing the hood and the range that are both from Viking we noticed that the hood and the range are actually not the same color which is unbelievable.

The delivery was a bit late and they made me order an extra gas cable (which was already included) but other than that, no complaints. It would have been 5 star if they they hadn’t made me buy additional items that were not necessary.

Purchased several Viking appliances 3 years ago. They already need to be replaced! The oven has had to have both convection fans replaced and still won’t work consistently or quietly. The microwave is a horrible design with the buttons inside the m.o. The dishwasher has parts fall off frequently so the rack isn’t sturdy or complete. And you don’t know if the dishwasher is on. It also has the buttons inside the unit and the only light on the outside, a small red light pointing down to the floor in the bottom corner, stopped working after a year. We kept opening the dishwasher while it was running and spraying water everywhere until we figured out a way to notify family members. Magnets wouldn’t work.
