Very excited for this state of the art cook top. It looks industrial but anyone can use it.
I like the way the knobs light up and how heavy duty the burners are~

I’m giving this 2 stars because who pays this amount of money for a stovetop only to have to place a warranty claim as soon as you get it installed. One of the lights would not come on and the burners would not light

Bought the viking 7 cooktop june 2021, two burners wont light up after installation, so called the tech same day. He came in and loosed the ignition and cleaned the burner head. It helped couple of months. Now the two burners wont light up again, had to call tech again within 6 months. The new tech was here three weeks ago said the burner head need to be replaced. Also the front LED light ring wont turn on and need to replace too. For the last few month, i had to keep a lighter to help my burner to lightup, beside all the tech issues, the cooktop itself hard to clean. Rack is heavy and huge, you cannot put into dish washer, and black pan is also sticky to food. I dont understand how viking pass the quality check? And i dont trust this brand anymore. Buyer be aware and stay away.

We purchased this to replace its predecessor, which we loved. Way overpriced! Constantly having to adjust the burners to start. The gold caps will turn black after a week, and the only way to clean them is tons of elbow grease and cleanser. We actually thought about using a sander, as it is so difficult to clean, and they stain badly. This cooktop would be great in a wok style restaurant. For home use, 80% of the time, you need to use the back burners, which have a far reach, otherwise the three front burners are way too big for a normal pot or pan. The flames get around the pan due to the wide circumference. What was Viking thinking with this very expensive cooktop.

Bought this high end Viking Rangetop from Bestbuy. The range is fantastic. Also, Best Buys order process and delivery of the range was flawless and on time. Best Buy is my first go to for any item I may need.

Expensive but vert good quality. I like the different burner sizes

For the price, this is not worth it. I’ve already returned the Viking oven and now this gas cooktop needs repairs. 5 out the 6 burners take a long time to ignite and fill the room with gas. I am so disappointed with Viking. If I could return it, I definitely would.
