The vanity Planet stainless steel roller gets 5 stars in my book! It definitely holds the cold longer than any product I have used. What gets 3 stars is the ungodly squeaking it makes from the plastic handle. If you are a migraine sufferer- you know that this will not be pleasant. But the soothing coldness you get is far superior than my other Jade roller or any mask I have. What I really like is you can put it down and come back to it in 10-15 minutes and it’s still ice cold. This is a great product for the price. It would be perfect if it didn’t squeak!

This roller was for my wife. Per her request, I tried it as well. Both of us thought it felt great when used, but it lost most of its chill within 10 minutes of use. This is after 24 hours in the freezer.
It is light enough to use daily, if desired, so holding it to your face/body isn’t taxing at all. In order to freeze the roller, you will need to separate the metallic roller from the handle. My wife could not separate the two, which is where I had to provide assistance. Putting the roller back on the handle was a breeze, however.
Honestly, it is hard to say how well this roller performs when the chill dissipates so quickly. As such, I’m going to have to give this product 2 stars.

I love this little gadget. It is very helpful for sore muscles and for refreshing the face and body. The little roller detaches and sits in the freezer till you need it. Wipe it down with alcohol after each use and you’re all set. Does it help under eye bags? It helps a little. The more you use it, the better the results will be. I’m loving the sore muscle therapy. For the price, it’s a useful tool to have in the war chest for fighting aches and pains.

My son is seventeen years old and has acne, when we received this he had an appointment w/ his dermatologist two days later. We took it to the appointment and the Doctor said, “It can’t hurt, it most likely will help, give it a try.”
Needless to say he already had. He plays basketball and sweats profusely, when we received the Vanity Planet – Face & Body Ice Roller we placed it in the freezer overnight and the next day when he came in from practice he washed his face as the Doctor instructed and before he applied his prescription cream he use the Ice Roller on his face for approximately 25 minutes. There was a NOTICEABLE change in his skin. It was clear. He has continued this treatment since we received it and his face (acne) is under far better control.
It is simple to use, he rolls it over his face for about 25-30 minutes, takes an alcohol pad and cleans the roller. Then places it back in the freezer.
I was skeptical at first, but I truly believe it helps my son w/ his acne problem.

This simple roller is very easy to use. Detach the roller, store in the freezer, attach to handle when ready to use. Easy to clean by wiping with rubbing alcohol.
I used it on my sore shoulder and it really works well. Can be used directly on skin (as long as keep moving), or over clothes. The cold felt great – like a combination of a massage and ice therapy. My husband loved it on his neck.
I only gave it four stars because it does squeak when you use it. I haven’t tried oiling it yet because it’s plastic. Also – it would be ideal if you could put the entire unit in the freezer, rather than having to keep track of the handle separately.
Overall I would recommend but would be nice to see an upgraded model.

This is a simple device that consists of a removable stainless steel roller attached to a handle. You place the roller piece in the freezer for at least 4 hours and then it is ready to reattach to the handle and use. I found that it does offer temporary relief of skin irritations and sore muscles. It even offers a soothing follow up after shaving. The other day I had a pretty bad headache and rolled across my forehead for a while. I really did help the headache go away.
There are a couple of nuisance items to mention. The wheel squeaks a bit when rolling and the handle feels a bit fragile, but the roller seems very solid and does stay cold for quite some time. Overall it seems like a nice product to have around the house when a little cooling therapy is in order.

I have never even attempted using a beauty item such as this ice roller, but after giving it a try I can say that it seems to be doing that it is supposed to be doing. Its easy to cool the roller and easy to reattach and use across my back and face. The weight is very sturdy and feels firm in my hand. This was a new experience for me but I would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a great stress limiting outlet. All in all I think that this is an easy way to reduce physical stress and at this price point this is a no-brainer to keep around the house.

Got this for my wife. She says that it is just like any other roller but bigger. Which allows to use it on other places on the body. The detachable roller is nice so that you don’t have the put the entire thing I the freezer which is unlike the other one she has.

I was a bit skeptical about this product but I’ve been converted. The big negative for me is that the roller is bigger than I anticipated given that the puffiness under the eyes are highlighted as a purpose for this. It really doesn’t work well for me there due to the size. However, I’ve had no problems anywhere else I’ve used it. I found it works well on inflammation on any part of the body. It’s great when you are doing the hot and cold thing as you don’t have the weight and wetness of dealing with ice or frozen veggies. Even when sitting out, it will still feel cool on the skin for a bit. When frozen, the cold lasts much longer than I anticipated so it stays cold for each application.
I took off a star due to the size. Perhaps there could be two roller heads, one larger and one smaller to take care of the issue.

Ice rollers are used a lot in the beauty community to soothe your skin, reduce redness, minimize pores, and shrink the bags under your eyes. This was my first time using this ice roller and wow, what an invigorating experience! I can now certainly see why the beauty community gets behind these ice rollers.

SET-UP:
Out of the box, there wasn’t much setup required. The instructions are minimal, but I found a YouTube video on how to use an ice roller and went along with it. The roller does come off the handle and before you use it, the roller needs to be placed in the freezer for at least 4 hours. Upon freezing the roller, the roller can be taken out and placed on the handle. Once that is finished, ice rolling can be started.

TESTING:
I have bags under my eyes as well as redness around my face. The roller did indeed provide quick relief to these problems. I used the roller for a couple of minutes on my face and along with relief, your face feels alive and relaxed. The cold roller can also be used as a way to wake up from those lazy early mornings. And if you have scars, well this ice roller also works on scars! I have been testing this on my arm’s scar tissue. My scar is a bit swollen and noticed that this ice roller did reduce the swelling and redness significantly!
The only minor annoying detail I noticed about this roller is the constant squeaking while using it. Cleaning and maintenance is straightforward as well. Simply clean the roller with rubbing alcohol applied to the cloth after every use and that’s it!

CONCLUSION:
I don’t have anything negative to say about this ice roller besides the fact that it does indeed work! Whether you want to feel invigorated, reduce bags under the eyes, or even reduce scar tissue, this ice roller should do wonders for whatever you use it for. And at this price point, it’s a steal. If you are looking for a cost-friendly ice roller you cannot go wrong with this one.

The Vanity Planet Face & Body Ice Roller is well worth the money spent to buy it. Instructions call for removing the roller and leaving it overnight in the freezer before first using it. It really chills down and would hurt if you left it in one spot. Rolling it over your face, eyes and body is invigorating and can reduce the swelling of puffy eyes, reduce body soreness and swelling of injuries, and close pores before applying makeup.
This device can be used by boith men and women and is very effective at what it does. The ice roller is mostly plastic and does tend to squeek sometimes when using it.

My wife is absolutely obsessed with this. She suffers from chronic daily migraines, and this ice roller is a lifesaver! I’ve been using this as well occasionally but mostly, its her. Not only does it help with her migraines, but it helps with her skin. I was a little annoyed that I have to take the roller off to put it in the freezer and not just put the whole thing in at once, but honestly it works so well I don’t even care anymore! She uses this ice roller after she has done her face masks. We are enjoying it for the sheer fact that it’s been really freaking hot these days here in Arizona and it is really refreshing. I was surprised at how large it was at first, but it actually ends up being the perfect size to use on your face for sinuses, migraines, or anywhere on your body for sore muscles. I feel like I’ve had a massage afterwards- and for only $15! Some of the benefits of ice rolling are:

Since my wife gets migraines regularly and an ice pack wrapped in a towel pressed to her temple was one of her most dependable forms of relief. So, I figured that given that these things cost less than two cups of Starbucks coffee, it was worth the risk. The thing is…it actually works. It’s no miracle cure or anything, but it absolutely helps her migraines both on her temples and the back of her neck. It’s hard to describe the texture of the roller. It’s hard plastic but it feels slightly gel-like when you roll it. It’s very odd because it feels very different when you just press on it with your fingers than when you actually roll it. It doesn’t stay cold for all that long once you start using it (obviously, since your body heat warms it and it’s actually pretty small). I stays cold for about 15-20 mins depending your body temp. You’d tire yourself out if you’re doing it longer than that anyway. It feels so amazing on the face, including over your eyes to depuff them.
This is one of those products that you don’t realize you need it until you have it. Highly recommend if you have neck problems, migraines, sinus congestion, etc. This will for sure be my Christmas present to everyone this year.

We have used this a few different ways. My wife has used it on her face for puffiness. She has also used it on her feet, she has a tendency to have her feet swell, think salty food aftermath. The face was visibly different as the puffy around her eyes diminished. Her feet just felt better after the cold treatment.
Since she tried on her feet, I tried with a chronic knee issue that requires ice at times. Being able to better direct the cold seemed to really help with the swelling and pain.
As for the design, not a fan of one thing. The entire reason I took a star off.. Trying to remove or insert the roller, it says not to put the plastic (handle) in the freezer. Trying to remove the roller is a battle, I felt like the plastic would break. It seems a little redesign on either the roller or the handle would make for the connecting and removing be a lot easier. I fear the handle will not last very long with the amount of force required to remove the roller. Also not very fun if the metal is still frozen/cold especially inserting the roller back into the handle.
Overall it does what it is designed to do. But in the long term, I don’t see it lasting with frequent use.

I used this roller on my face and body. A couple hours in the freezer and pull it out for use. The handle is cold only for a few mins then not as cold as the actual roller. It makes a squealing noise randomly but goes away. Overall it’s a great item.

The face and body ice roller is what you definitely need in your skincare routine. This lightweight tool definitely smoothes and sculpts your definite features! After allowing it to be in the freezer to collect the cold, you are able to easily roll it on your face or even your body to make certain places more define. I definitely feel like it’s a staple to your routine! as the box suggests it reduces swelling, soothes irritation as well asminimizes pores! Even if you don’t feel the difference it’s definitely there!

I’ve had a mixed experience with this face & body roller. On one hand, I like that it does a decent job of maintaining a cold temperature so that you may use this a cold therapy roller over sore muscles and aches. However, I’m not sure if it’s just my unit but there’s a really annoying intermittent screeching sound when I roll it back and forth sometimes. Poor quality bearings perhaps? I’ve also been using it on my face in the mornings over the past week and haven’t noticed a difference or felt a difference. This roller did come in handy when rolling it over some muscle aches that I had. The coldness felt pretty good but the screeching sound would make it’s presence known from time to time. If it wasn’t such a high pitched screech, it might be more tolerable. Overall, I think this is decent product to keep around the house that you can quickly grab from the freezer and apply some cold therapy to muscle aches and soreness. However, I can’t personally attest to the skin tightening and shrinking/de-puffing under the eye bags claims as it didnt seem to make a difference for me.

I never used an ice roller before so I was looking forward to trying the Vanity Planet Face & Body Ice Roller. This is one of those products that most of the review is it either does what it says or it does not. For the most, it does. It does get nice and cold and does retain the cold for decent amount of time. However, the cold does not last anywhere near the claimed “up to 2 hours.” That seems like marketing hype. I used this for over a week, and it did perform well and would never need it to be cold for two hours. The roller is light weight and middle of road in quality. It is mostly plastic with the exception of the metal around the roller. I would have preferred the metal to go all around the edges of the roller, it would have made it more effective under the eyes. The Vanity Planet – Face & Body Ice Roller does have one major annoyance – it makes a loud screeching sound as you use it. It did not do it at first but now does it every time I use it. Extremely annoying and makes me question how long it will last. Regardless, I would still recommend it for the low cost and overall effectiveness.

It’s a pretty simple device but how I used this the most and thought it was awesome was rolling out my wrist. My wrist has been bothering me lately and using this as a cold massager works awesome for a little relief. I think the main issue that I have is that it is a little difficult to pop the head off to put in the freezer. Also, it lasts about an hour before it is no longer as cold as I like it to be. It is still cold just not as cold. Other than that, it is solid enough that I don’t feel like I’m going to break it with too much pressure and it works great for me.
