Way to big for most users and back button placement isnt to great for smaller hands and most big hands
JoeJuly –
Quality feels really good. Buttons and thumb sticks feel like they will last forever. My issue was the size of the controller. I am a big guy at 6’5″ but I still struggled to reach the back buttons. Maybe I am use to paddles on the Elite Series 2 controller but the back buttons on this controller were not convenient to use for me. When I plugged my headset into the controller my friend said the sound quality of my voice took a huge drop and it made my microphone extra sensitive. Every breath I took was picked up by the microphone this is not an issue on any other controller I have. If I had a wireless headset I would’ve been happier with the controller. It’s very comfortable and I like the look but at this price point I went with a Razer Wolverine Tournament Edition which I am much happier with and saved a lot of money. Such a cool controller just not something that gets the job done for me. Requires a day one update I plugged it up to my PC and it was a seamless process so easy. Xbox also has an app you can use too for customizing buttons.

Best controller ive ever bought straight up. Finally a controller i can play on apex with zero deadzone on console with no sitck drift.
BoyWonder –
Cool controller! Got this for my 10yrs old and he loves it! He’s back and forth between it and his Elite 2. Think he loves them equally!
Taints –
Exactly as described. Too bad my nephew dropped it pretty hard do now one toggle is wonky but it was great while it lasted.

This is a great alternative to the PlayStation controller. I’m a PlayStation type person so using Microsoft controllers is a little awkward for me. So I bought this to be able to setup the controller like the PlayStation configuration. Works out great.
Ps: I’m 6’2” so my hands are fairly big. I’ve read that the controller tend to be to big for people with small hands

This controller has gotten me into grand champ in rocket league. It made my car bigger, faster, and stronger.
Back to a real review.
This controller feels good in your hands and even has that ‘good weight’ to it that makes it seem way more durable than any other controller I’ve used. I love the interchangeable analog sticks and D-pad. The cable for it is long and hasn’t tangled up on me yet. Not to mention the cable port is… for lack of a better term, sturdy. [You will know what I mean when you first plug it in].
If your looking for a long lasting pro controller that you can show off to your friends, you found it!
BobGeorge89 –
This has been the best Xbox controller I’ve had. I love how the sticks feel and the buttons are also great. It’s bigger than the normal controller but, you get use to it.
Chrisc02 –
Brilliant controller, took a while to get use to the smaller remappable buttons on the back, but overall amazing
gift –
this is an amazing product for all of these that love to play like a professional this take your game to another level
Rockyracoon13 –
I bough thus controller in Jan 2021 and it is now July 2021. This thing just decided to stop working one day on both my PC and series X. The joysticks slowly stop registering and eventually you lose complete joystick control of the game. The buttons and gamepad work fine. At first i thought it was a new game on my PC but the same exact issue is happening on my series X.
This thing has seen VERY light use since i mainly use a keyboard and mouse. I had high hopes for a bigger sized controller with modular options. Ive had a razer controller last 2 yrs and an elite controller last nearly 2 yrs with daily heavy use. This thrustmaster barely had a few days a month of gaming time.
Herring25 –
Pretty cool controller, joy stick has just recently began to stick and the inter changeable buttons are hard to find for purchase
CarlitosCable –
Nice altenative to the Xbox elite controller. Saw on youtube, about how you need large hands, but , for me not true at all.
Works and feels just like the xbox elite controller and you can easily Mod the thumbsticks and D pad quickly and easily , by pulling them out and changing their placing.
jjnovak –
Very good idea for a controller, but it’s extremely large in hands. I’d say I have normal to larger hands and this thing just feels awkward. Returned for elite controller.

I’ve tried a bunch of 3rd party controllers, and this is by far the best of them.
[V3 Nacon Controller: 2.2/5.0 stars]
(Pros):
-Wired/Wireless
-Good materials
-Adjustable weight
-Extra stick grips
-USB C
(Cons):
-Hard to grip shape and use triggers sometimes, even for big hands
-Price for a basic-ish controller is pretty steep
-No real tactility
-Hard to grip sticks, a bit too smooth to grip
(Other)
-Personally not a fan of the rubber grips as they get dirty quicker and are harder to clean
-So so extra buttons
[Razer Wolverine TE – 3.7/5.0]
(Pros):
-Great tactile buttons
-Great shape thats easy to grip
-Decent extra buttons
-Good Materials
-Somewhat cheaper price than others
(Cons):
-Keyed cable port is made so you MUST use a razer cable unlike the other two’s keyed ports
-Controller developed a noise on the left trigger after 1-1/2 years of use
-VERY hard to grip sticks, they have no grip to them almost and are super smooth
-Wired only
(Other)
-Personally not a fan of the rubber grips as they get dirty quicker and are harder to clean
-Not a big fan of ther abxy button material
[Eswap X Pro – 4.8/5.0]
(Pros):
-Great shape thats easy to hold
-Best tactile buttons on a controller i’ve used
-Swappable parts for extended life + designs
-Very low input lag
-Great Materials
-Good stick grips
(Cons):
-Wired Only
-Glossy top middle part will just get smudged
-So so extra buttons
(Other):
-No rubber gripping makes it much easier to clean
Koder –
Great controller, with I’m pulling all the flip resets and hitting clangers all day
moobere –
The ability to swap the analog sticks around is amazing, came from years of playstation and made gaming more comfortable.
Owlno –
Comfortable feel, larger than normal xbox controller. Defective out of the box. No power to controller no matter what cable was used. Im sure it would have been a nice product if it was usable…
btown247365 –
If you use RB LB RT LT (top buttons) alot for games this controller is not for you. The mechanical clicking sound with every press is louder than my keyboard. It was annoying after 1 minutes. CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK……….the only thing wrong with it. If you wear headphones you might be fine,
Yams34 –
Bought it as a Christmas present for my son. So far so good. He seems to be winning more as I don’t hear him banging on his desk all the time. He’s a middle schooler and plays for hours on the weekend, so I would say it’s sturdy.
CJD16 –
The controller feels amazing in hand from where the paddles are and how you can swap everything. Only down fall is the software… If you have a windows operating system youll have no problem… but… if you have an apple os forget about any updates that come the controllers way.. Wish it was advertised before I bought it…

Nice controller Haven’t broken yet good controller no problems
The24beast –
Best controller ever. Fits perfect on my hands . Would def reconmend
Good –
This is a great controller, very good quality, and quite accurate
Chaotic –
Works great on PC. Sometimes have to unplug it and plug it back in to turn on. Have it configured like a Playstation controller.
Joseph –
Well made controller. Buttons, bumpers, and triggers are smooth and responsive. Sticks have no drift as of yet and when they eventually get really bad, just pop it out and replace it with a new stick. I had already broken the bumpers on the Elite series 1 controller by now.
Trigger stops work but would be nice if there was another increment.
The 4 rear buttons I do not use but if I did, I would not be able to grip all 4 at a time, nor would I want to.
Wired only, but I already knew that before purchasing and not a negative in my opinion.
Different shape and feel of the OEM controllers but adjusting to it is easy.
Software on both the PC and Xbox to configure.
Mandatory firmware up via PC, one should keep it up to date anyway.
Rafael –
The controller is a bit large and the buttons a bit stiff. However, after a couple of weeks, I’m getting used to it (the buttons have softened as well). We’ll see if it lasts more than the cheaper XBox controllers.
Fitzy –
I screwed up and didn’t read the requirements prior to purchase. I can’t give it a five star because I was unable to use the product. However, it seems like a quality build and felt great in hand.
whatsinanameanyway –
Best controller I’ve ever used. I don’t love the d-pad, and the back buttons take some getting used to. Otherwise, I love everything about this.
JacobT –
I originally bought this controller as a gift for my brother. He loved it (still does) and it started helping him get better. I then had to get one for myself, and I began feeling a difference in my gameplay as well. It feels great in your hands, bigger than the standard xbox controller, but that doesn’t mean you need big hands to use it; my hands are very average sized. I play 2-3 nights a week regularly, and a lot more over the summer, with a year passed, i still have not experienced any issues in the slightest. The cord is long, feels durable, and literally has never once tangled for me. The buttons are very clicky (idk how else to say it) and responsive. And if I did begin to experience drift stick (which I have not after a year) then I can simply replace the analog sticks in seconds. It’s simply amazing. I recommend it to anyone who plays regularly. I could ramble on for a while about how much I like this controller.
jmkunselman –
My son loves this controller! He says it is easy to use and makes gaming more enjoyable.
Regp –
I’m gonna keep it short the program app sucked and it’s too big and back button layout sucked .
BoLucLac –
Joysticks are very accurate. However, back buttons are poorly placed for FPS gameplay and it should have a shorter joystick option. Will be returning unfortunately, since the quality top shelf.
Nolabel –
Great for big hands.
Customization is fun.
U.I – meh.
Yougetwhatyoupayfor –
Love it! Very durable and well made. Easy to use!!
Kuku –
I have different kinds Controller this one is the best hundred percent I love it
Dilembeb –
The right trigger would randomly activate and that caused problems when playing games and navigating the menus of the Xbox. Wouldn’t recommend this controller especially with the price being so high.
Layer8 –
Controller would not update firmware. Bricked mid update and become useless. The instructions to update was provided out of the box and it ruined the functionality of the controller. Build quality was ok, mechanical buttons felt very good, but without being able to use it, its a paper weight. Size was atrocious as well. WOuld not recommend.
Chang –
The A button(action keypad) broke after 5 months. I contacted the company(also it was a headache contacting them, since they’re only open 4 hours from monday thru thursday, and their hours are wrong in their website), after a month later, they send me another one. I’m pretty sure it’s gonna break again, because it’s cheap plastic. If you want to see more people with this problem, just type thrustmaster A button double clicking, and you will see many people with this problem,
and a month later, i started getting stick drift. wouldn’t recommend this controller to anyone
NoCoolNameDave –
Great controlled. Love everything about it. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is I wish they made it wireless.
ktiedt –
Broke days outside of the 45 day return period, TM’s response, 5 days of waiting… phone support after re-dialing for 15 minutes because their “support” line hangs up after 10 seconds if no operators are free…. After finally reaching a “we won’t hang up on you” queue, the #2 position and “12 minute wait” lasted 55 minutes, only to be told, “Your case isnt assigned to me, you’ll have to keep waiting.”
Pray yours never breaks, and if it does, pray you don’t have to wait in Thrustmaster to honor their warranty because it will be out of warranty by the time they actually respond to your problems.
ShawnA –
I have had more problem with this than its worth. 1 minute i cant switch between presets without opening app and manually switching. When i try to program buttons from controller instead of app the controller doesnt except it. Now i will be in the middle of playing and complete controller shut down except the light stay on but no buttons work at all without unplugging and replugging. Tried to update firmware and says im up to date. Then support asks me to reboot so i do and now it wont work at all. Wont even allow me to update and app says no controller detected. Contacted support again but they do nothing for you. Do not buy this controller. You will be disappointed and waste your money.
Jessi5873 –
Husband loves it and he doesn’t mind the cord at all
Kayce –
It was returned because it’s not wireless. It should be wireless for the amount of money it cost.
AngeloR –
Awesome controller, easy to use and very confortable
RonnyM –
Great controller I play every day with it and is great
Decordre –
It was a good controller only probably was triggers went bad faster than I thought they would so if you are a serious fps shooters the bumpers and triggers are made too cheaply for you to really enjoy the controller to its full lifespan

SmokinGr8 –
Such a great concept such poor delivery it doesn’t matter what you do how much you clean it how careful you are the stick will always get stick drift and it is not correctable at this one little issue was dealt with it would be a 10 out of 10
B1ood –
The right thumbstick went out after only 6 months of use, bought a new module, and it doesnt move smoothly around the outside, like theres a bump or something. And it would only move about halfway in the app and in games. The A button double presses every press. Id rather just get either an official controller, or maybe like victrix controller instead. Victrix one year of use, still feels brand new.
