This is a great option if you do not want to hard wire or use a cigarette cable. Kinda pricey for what it is, but its is so simple to install.

Worked great in my 22 Ford Maverick. However, it was the 2.0 L Ecoboost Turbo. When I got my 23 Maverick Hybrid, I found that this isn’t compatible with electric or hybrid vehicles. If you have a hybrid, make sure to get an OBD cable compatible with hybrid/electrics. Thinkware does make one now. I don’t know if BestBuy sells that one yet; the specs still show not compatible.

With this I am able to utilize the parking mode without having to tap into the fuses. Very easy to install.

This OBD 2 works with hybrid cars or not ? I saw reviews saying no compatible with hybrid or electric cars and other say yes its compatible with hybrid and electric, who is saying the truth? I bought the thinkware U3000 and it comes with this obd 2 and its not working with my 2021 honda hybrid in parking mode

I have a 2021 Fors Mustang GT manual transmission and when connected with the ODB2 power cord the camera cycles between parking mode and continuous recoding mode while driving. I ordered a new power cord hoping its a faulty one but so far no luck using it for parking mode.
