  1. Tanjim

I have been using this lens with my sony a6000 and it performs great. 17-70 is an awesome range to shoot whether you’re shooting portraits, landscape or street. The constant aperture of 2.8 really shines both in photos and videos with a nice and shallow depth of field along with really sharp images. In my opinion, it is the best zoom lens for the sony e mount (apsc) body.

  2. joonsup

bang for the buck lense for any Sony A6x especially if you dont have image stabilization. This lense provides that extra stabilization which was my main reason of choosing this over a couple other sigma lenses.

  3. Jerrad

Wonderful when paired with my a6600. Love the zoom rage of the lens also.

  4. Matt

Great lense! Only one complaint… it is heavy. If you do not mind the extra weight then get it!

  5. Chicitysaxdude92

As of 2022, This is the best lens ever made for a Sony APS-C camera! Image sharpness is fantastic, the auto focus is fast and quiet and the constant f2.8 aperture allows me to use a fast enough shutter speed even for indoor basketball photography! Image quality is not as good past 55mm, but the Sony f2.8 16-55mm only goes to 55mm, so if you only use this lens from 17-55mm you have basically the same lens as the Sony for half the price! It also has built in image stabilization, which the Sony does not. This is the only lens I use on my Sony A6300.

  6. Bigpaco213

Picked this bad boy up for my sony a6400 its a lil heavy but not to bad. Photos are crazy sharpe and come out amazing. The built in VC is really good and so far i havent taken any blurry photos.

  7. Angie

The Tamron 17-70 Lens is an extremely well put together lens with exceedingly amazing photo quality. There are so many pro’s when it comes to this lens such as the Lightweight and compactness, the lens is great in low-light thanks to f/2.8 aperture, there is a Full-frame field of view of 17-70 mm which provides flexibility, there is an accurate autofocus with proper lens stabilization and it also has Weather sealing which makes this lens a must for travel for individuals who are into videography and photography. Would recommend to any individual in the industry!

  8. BryanD

Excellent lens. If youre new to photgraphy/videography and need 1 lens … this might be the best. Very versatile and f2.8. Definitelt cant go wrong with it
