These are fantastic speakers. I listened to multiple high-end speakers before buying the Prime Pinnacles, and the sound easily rivals and even surpasses speakers costing hundreds, or even a couple thousand dollars more – no exaggeration. I’m using them solely for stereo music, connected to a good CD player, turntable and integrated amplifier. The imaging is outstanding, with a wide and deep soundstage. It sounds like you’re in the room with the performers.
I like an even response across the board, preferring a more laid back sound than something really bright. These speakers are great for achieving that. The highs are clear, but not fatiguing. The mids come through very well. You can hear sounds in the music that you wouldn’t with other speakers. Old music is new again. With three cabinet-separated woofers, the bass is substantial and tight, but not overpowering. No need for a subwoofer, as these get to very low frequencies very well. I have the speakers placed fairly far apart in the room and less than a foot from the wall, and the bass is not boomy.
Lastly, I really like that these speakers are compactly constructed, so I get outstanding sound without having two huge monoliths that take over the room. My wife was very pleased with the size and the piano black cabinets.

Just did a short listen to a couple of movies and some music. Spectacular sound for the money. I haven’t run Room EQ Wizard yet but I suspect the 29 Hz-25 kHz is pretty accurate.
