For the past 15 years we had been using an Infinity PS10 subwoofer. When that finally quit we had the opportunity to upgrade. Since my system is all Klipsch Reference Premiere I had my eye on Klipsch SPL 150W for a long time. However, reviews I had read indicated Klipsch has issues with pre-mature failure of amps. My search led me to SVS, and boy am I glad it did. This PB2000Pro is nothing but excellence. It is a very large subwoofer so make sure you have the room for it, but it drops down into the 16 Hz range where most other subwoofers give up in the upper 20’s or low 30’s. The mobile App and bluetooth connection allows you to sit in your chair and tune it in, which is extremely helpful. This is a dual port subwoofer, and is great for our large 16×31 family room. I have setting on -10 and 5 on the sub and receiver, so there is plenty of headroom. There is even an option through the electronics on the subwoofer to run it in Sealed Mode (with optional port plugs that SVS provided me free of charge), for those of you that might listen to a lot of music this may be handy, although I think this thing handles music great. Overall, as long as this can fit in your room, you will not be unhappy with the PB2000Pro. One last note, SVS is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. They helped me decide on the best Subwoofer for my situation, and are so responsive and helpful. If I could give this 10 stars I would!

First off, UPS sucks as a shipper. When I went to pick up the sub at the Store (ship to store), it looked like UPS did a flying jump kick into the side of the box! Thankfully, there is no detectable damage to the sub. The only thing I can think of is that the box is about 80lbs, and UPS uses a machine to squeeze the box from the sides to pick it up. Terrible any way you look at it.
As for the size, it is big! 22Lx17Wx20.5H.
Sound wise, it is much better than my older Velodyne DPS4000 sound (miss the velodyne remote though).
There are some buttons on the back of it to adjust volume, etc, but it’s all digital with blue dot lights, no numbers. You should be using the SVS Bluetooth app for the sub to adjust it.
I could really tell the strength of the sub when I watched the Netflix series – Lost in Space – S1 Eps9 (at the approx 3min and 13min mark) & even Edge of Tomorrow’s opening scene. The sustain of the sub is awesome! Night and day difference from my old sub. Of course, my old sub was 200w and this one is 550w.
SVS Support is top notch I have to say! Any problem or issue, they will take care of you. They will even send you port plugs free of charge if you want them (used for music).
Overall, really impressed with the product.
I was able to use a 10% coupon that comes with a BB credit card and finance for 24mos.

The Geek squad guy recommended this subwoofer to enhance the sound out of our four speakers in a surround sound setting. He was right. Ya it cost extra, but once you hear the sound you forget the price.

The best subwoofer i have ever had , the walls of my living room really shakes and with the app on my phone i control it from my seat . Iam very happy now with my home theater , very good at movies and music !!!

Sub was to replace my Bose 700 subwoofer and is a few steps up.
For music this sub rocks, for movies it’s really impressive. Rocks on movies like Cars to Rambo last blood where you can feel the pressure from the shotgun blasts.
One pinch is the LFE auto signal turn on.
I have an upper level Marantz AVR and volume must be “+1/3” close to 1/2 for the amp to turn on. I could use the 12volt trigger to solve this, but on the other hand do you want a sub of this caliber on at lower volume when kids are asleep or ect.
FYI it’s big, my wife calls it a mini cooper.

Excellent value and superb sound. Better than subs of same class that cost twice as much.

Excellent bottom end and midrange response! Phases in and out through main speakers seemlessly

Amazing. Highly recommend. Makes a great gift!!!!!

I compared four subwoofers at Best Buy. This sub won easily. Very deep bass and nice and tight sound.

This is a very impressive subwoofer here. My wife always complains that everything shakes upstairs when it’s a little too loud sometimes you can feel it and not even hear it and that’s the way a subwoofer should be.

My house feels like an earthquake when I turn this bad boy on. Very clean, crisp bass. The only downside is that this thing is pretty big and makes it hard to hide.

This thing thumps! The box is huge, so be sure it fits your space/footprint. I like I can change the settings from my phone.

Music reproduction is exquisite, full and steady LFE is a delight for film. This will take your home theater to the promised land.

Using 2 of these subs and they absolutely rattle my entire house. I would highly recommend these

Product was easy to connect, (SVS app) and after some adjusting it sounds great. A little pricey but it is well worth the cost

Excellent purchase and will highly recommend to anyone.

Jaw dropping bass output and extension, needs to be turned down or it’ll knock things off shelves. But the best part is that extension, making lower frequencies extremely immersive for movies and music. Paired with Kef Q350’s, a Yamaha receiver with a crossover around 90hz.
I got it before price hikes, I’m sure there’s better options at this price point, but I will say the bass on my system still blows me away even a year after owning this.

House crushing base. Great features for control through the SVS app. Bought two and I’m 100% satisfied

I upgraded from a 12-year-old SVS subwoofer which was very impressive. Based on my experience with SVS I knew I would stick with the same brand. SVS did not disappoint. Not only do I get couch-shaking bass, but I can also hear bass that is now more refined with none of that annoying boominess that cheaper subs to have. The included app is a nice touch and makes it easy to adjust.
You can’t go wrong with anything from SVS.

Awesome subwoofer, added this 1 to existing pb2000, what a difference. Fills the room with incredible bass. App is a nice addition to be able to adjust settings from your phone.
Mimi –
More than enough power and subsonic bass for anyone looking to add a subwoofer to their home theater.

First off, I ordered 2 of these for my new home theater from Best Buy vs the svs website due to the fact I could do store pickup after doing lots of research and going back and forth between a few others. Unfortunately, when I got them home and unboxed them, one of them was damaged. The cabinet had a big dent in it, probably wouldn’t affect performance, but this is an expensive subwoofer. I called Best Buy and they ordered me another one and had the geek squad deliver it to me and pick up the bad one. They even offered to take all the packaging back with them. Awesome customer service! As for the subwoofers themselves, probably not the best subwoofers if you listen to a lot of music vs movies, but that’s not what I bought them for. For movies, these things shake the whole house. I have a relatively small home theater room (2000 ft3) and 2 of these have no problem filling the room. When they hit the really low frequencies it feels like there’s a fan on in the room because they move so much air! Pretty big though, make sure you have the room for them

Awesome! Awesome!! Awesome!!! The bottom end on this sub is unbelievable. There is a magical setting where you get a deep vibration without actually hearing anything. I managed to find this setting by ear, no REW or $100 mics necessary. With this sub I am in heaven. If you can afford one, buy it!!

I went from having dual Klipsch 12″ subs to this beast of a sub and let me tell you the difference is night and day! After the break in period this sub truly shines! I hear details in movies that I haven’t heard before.
Rusty –
This subwoofer hits HARD! Excellent performing device. I absolutely love it. Rattles ALL the windows in my house! The accompanying SVS app works seamlessly.
TomG –
Works great. Make sure you check out how big and heavy it is. Much bigger than I thought

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the SVS 12 ported subwoofer, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations in every way. SVS has a well-earned reputation for producing high-quality audio equipment, and this subwoofer is no exception.
First and foremost, the bass performance of the SVS 12 ported sub is nothing short of exceptional. Whether I was watching action-packed movies or listening to bass-heavy music, this subwoofer delivered deep, powerful bass that added a new dimension to my audio experience. The low-frequency extension is impressive, providing a solid foundation for any audio setup.
The build quality of the SVS 12 ported sub is also top-notch. The cabinet is solid and well-constructed, and the overall design exudes durability. The subwoofer’s ported enclosure is thoughtfully designed, allowing for efficient airflow and minimizing port noise, resulting in clean and precise bass output.
