It’s not heavy and easy to setup but broken very easily
SB01 –
The quick release plate is damaged therefore the camera sits crooked. i should’ve known better most of the tripod boxes on the shelves were damaged and taped back up.

This is a great product to use. The price is worth it. I use the monopod a lot with my kid volleyball games. It’s simple to use and it when not in use it’s small and easy to store it.
Onthejazz28 –
The part that locks the mount into the tripod broke relatively fast. Not a rugged tripod by any means and wouldn’t recommend for normal use.
SofiaM –
Amazing!!!! Would buy again in a heartbeat, did the job!
TrentF –
Very versatile and a better value than other options at twice the price

This this tripod was the most expensive cheap plastic I ever bought. Not worth the money for the poor quality.
DaviH –
Overall it’s a great tripod. I just wish the tripod head was more secure. Mine is still kind of loose even after using the knobs to lock the pan and tilt. The quick release plate can be a tricky to get in and out sometimes as well.
Donbusiness –
Easy to use, confortable, light weight and more. This is a very good tripod, excellent for video too, so if you find it in store buy it specially if you got this at $50 or less, so if you know someone who like to photos with other than a smartphone recommend to it.
Gamingman –
Horrible i ended up returning it to get a joby wich is way better

I like the versatility it offers. Tripod and unipod are both helpful in different situations. Ease of switching from one to the other is nice.

It is OK for the price. This is similar to several other Tri-pods of similar size and price which I have owned and used in the past. Keep in mind, any tripod becomes less rigid (more wobble) when fully extended to its maximum height, so consider buying a tri-pod which extends taller than you need.
Last minute purchase, made in person at the local Best Buy store. I needed a tripod which could extend to >65″ so there were limited choices in stock at the store. There were no tripods on display, just sealed boxes, and prices were not clearly marked, so I grabbed this one based on the description and photos on the box.

All the function you would want in your selfie stick-stand

Seemed and felt very cheaply made. Definitely didn’t feel comfortable with and expensive camera on top.

Great For Low Budget Camera Work. A Little Complex With All The Tightening Knobs But Overall Good Product.
PedroP –
Good tripod for what I need so far. I got it as an open box and the price was good.

This tripod made it so I could get my Bogan one back from my church. YeeeHaaaaa!!
CristianG55 –
Awesome tripod, definitely worth the money, very stable and easy to use
JadeM –
I like how it has the go pro option, camera attachment, and phone attachment but all of them are a little wobbly and I have screwed them all the way down. Still does the job just wish the angles and security was a little more.
tomjar2222 –
I use it for a c-cam, in video, put aside for a wide shot and it does the job. I wouldn’t expect too much from it, and adjusting the horizontal aspect is a little tougher than I’d like.
CharmaineB –
I bought this tripod for my photography class and will be using this beauty in my classes. Great features.
KyleM –
Overall a good tripod, i would just prefer one with an adjustable middle section, instead of having to adjust all 3 legs
JessicaW –
Decent height , convertd to a hand help, the te sion adjustment is a little odd but i hope it wont break any time soon
Has a hook at thw bottom for anchoring
Ricardo –
Of the upper bolts that hold the tripod legs to the monopod section ended up snapping out completely. Luckily the overall shape of upper section still fits snuggly in the original socket, but definitely not an ideal construction. As I only used it for about a month when it was brand new.

Great item well worth the money recommend it to any new photographers

Very easy to set up and travel with! great for photography and videography.

It’s a good tripod, no doubt. Very versatile. But I had problems with its monopod at a recent F1 race. I had problems with the monopod’s locking mechanism which slipped during use several times and was also hard to lock at different levels I needs for photos from the grandstands. It is either a weakness in this particular product or it’s a fault in the monopod. I will investigate further and contact Best Buy if I need repairs or replacement.

I purchased a version of this tripod about 10yrs ago and then another when the glue on the monopod eroded and got stuck. For the price, was extremely happy w the first unit. Even as my kit evolved, I kept the sunpak 7000 because I could always find a use for it.
When I ordered a replacement, the new one, right off the bat, felt cheap. The metal wasn’t as strong. It was lighter thoe. Also it scratched immediately, but not a yuge deal.
The edges of the cuts in the plastic where the plate goes were super rough, like it was torn rather than cut.
Worst thing is the foam handgrips are much much lower quality, so they flake off immediately on your hands. Never an issue on the version i purchased earlier.
It’s so bad I had to gaffe tape the handles to not get little flakey foam bits on my hand when using the tripod.
Annoying, but at the end of the day, once I gaffe’d it, it was useable at a cheap price.
It goes high, its lightweight, its quick to set up, u can buy plates for it. It’s good enough still, but disappointing it’s not as good as the version I bought 10 yrs ago.

Good tripod, Height is wonderful and the tripod is stable.
JesusC –
This is an exceptional product! Even though the price seems a little expensive, DO NOT CHEAP OUT ON TRIPODS. Cheap tripods break easily, they fall over (which can break your camera). This is SOOOO EASY TO USE, and it’s ridiculously stable. I use a sony a6700, and the tripod is able to easily hold it.
Makai –
The many adjustable heights are great and it’s fairly easy to figure out and use BUT one of the legs has broken already, it still stands fine but doesn’t close up correctly anymore. It also doesn’t hold the camera or GoPro very stable because the connecting piece seems to be loose or broken.

Great Equipment ! Great Price ! Incredible Value !

This tripod is absolutely useless for moon photography. If you have a real camera with a big lens for moon photography look elsewhere. If you use a camera with anything above 400mm this thing is useless. The weight of the camera makes it tilt upwards. I have only used it 2 times and it no longer locks it in place. Absolute junk and I will be returning it back. For regular cameras with small lenses sure but if tou plan on using bigger lens stay away!!!
CaileyB –
Tripod is easy to use once familiar with adjusting height and sturdiness. I like to use this tripod specifically when taking moon/star photos and photographing wildlife. Keeps camera nice and level and reduces shakiness from hands for clear photos. Super lightweight and is compact for easy storage. Highly recommend this product for anyone new or experienced in photography.

a quality product in structure and super versatile for any occasion

It is great for my purposes. I use it only a few times a month. Light yet strudy.
VereniceVillalobos –
Very great product I use it to record all my football highlights and I also am a couch so I record my kids playing. I also mount my camera and take pictures.
LarryJ –
Surprised at how well I like this tripod unit! I traveled out of town for the Holidays and didn’t think to bring a tripod for pictures. Didn’t want to pay a ton of money for it and didn’t expect it would be much more than a cheap unit to keep my camera steady. Boy was I surprised! The first thing noticed was it was easy to put into service; not a lot (none) assembly required. The flexibility and smoothness of the gimbal head was a nice surprise as going from Portrait shooting to Landscape was a simple twist of the friction knob and the job is done! The hanging hook under center to hold my camera bag and add weight for stability was an excellent feature that I thought would cost a bunch extra to get, but surprise it came with the unit! It provides smooth and quiet operation to set up too. I love the built in carry strap that made it easy to carry the light weight tripod plus I could leave the camera attached to carry it as a unit. An all around great value!

The Sunpak PlatinumPlus Ultra 7000 2-in-1 70″ tripod and monopod ticks all the boxes for a photographer like me. It is portable, versatile, and provides the stability needed for both video and still photography. Whether I’m capturing the bustling energy of city streets or the serene beauty of nature, this tripod/monopod has become an indispensable part of my photography kit.
SarahS –
I purchased it for my DCLR camera, however it would not tighten to my lens slot. I use a 400. Mm lens, heavy. I think the tripod would be great with the right set up. I use my camera at beach a lot. Not steady enough in sand.
DavidR –
Its a great tripod to work with i took over 700 pictures and its fun ans easy i highly recommend it.
Yellowswab –
