    Mouse itself is fantastic. Software required to customize comes with obscene amount of bloatware. To customize the RGB and DPI you’ll have to navigate through advertisements. Software automatically scans for games upon install and insists on useless stuff you didn’t ask for such as capturing video of gaming highlights. I was going to return but was able to keep my settings after uninstalling the 500mb of garbage. If you’re okay with that go for it. If I knew sooner I never would have bothered because it was a headache.

    It’s a pretty good mouse I wish you could add more weight to it though. That is because I prefer a heavy mouse because I have a bad habit of picking my mouse up. However I think it’s still a five star mouse because my opinion is out weighed by how easy it is to set this mouse up to your personal preferences with the steel series software. You don’t have to do any set up however if you do it is super simple. This was by far the most user friendly software I’ve used for pc gaming.

    The accuracy, consistency, and precision of the mouse pointer is better than any other gaming mouse I’ve used to date. It has a nice number of buttons for extra functions that are, for the most part, placed thoughtfully and easy to access, although I still need to reach a little to hit the thumb trigger. Having the cluster of 3 other thumb controls has been great: the usual pair for back/forward navigation, and the top button is actually a flipper tab that can have different functions assigned to up or down activation. It’s very easy to access it effortlessly during games. I find the weight a good balance: it’s not super light like some FPS mice, but not fatiguing. The body is a smooth but not slippery plastic that gives decent grip without feeling sticky. All of the buttons have excellent tactility and positive feedback, and the scroll wheel is one of the best I’ve ever used in terms of texture, clickliness, and just the right amount of rolling resistance, but it doesn’t have the feature that allows it to spin freely. Ergonomics are pretty good, but it does start to fatigue my wrist after hours of use and I think if the left side were taller, it would allow a more comfortable grip angle. The RGB lighting is highly customizable and smoothly transitions between colors on the sides, but I find it kind of distracting.

    Wired mouses are way better than wireless mouses and i didnt truly see the differnece between them until i got this mouse. Especially for gaming, it is a life saver. When youre trying to play fps games like valorant or r6 you want the control over the mouse and the reaction time to match yours, this mouse does exactly that. The customization of the colors and on demand sensitivity control is pretty neat too.

    I like this mouse a lot. I like that it doesn’t require batteries and it doesn’t need to be charged like others. I recommend this if you don’t mind a corded mouse. It has buttons on the side to use as well as the ones on the top. And of course, I love the color changing lights.

    Ok for the price, but using the app for the mouse and a beginner is daunting to say the least. The app itself is finnicky at best and doesnt do what you want it to. I had to shut the RGB lights off cause it wont change speeds and is going to cause seizures
