    The battery doesn’t last a long time if you are using rechargeable ones. A little heavy with 2 AAA batteries.

    I bought this as a gift for my son. He absolutely loves it! It’s a great mouse for beginners in the gaming world. Easy to set up and use right out the box. Programming and mapping the other optional buttons is simple and straightforward depending on the games being played of course. Awesome mouse!

    Works well, but sometimes doesn’t like to connect randomly despite only using it for two days at this point. Occasionally is a bit jittery as well.
    Outside these issues though, it works fine and is better than a lot of other mice. Is more silent than them too.

    I really like this mouse for the most part, but it dies annoyingly fast since it takes external batteries. Also, it’s annoying to get it to wake up again when it goes to sleep.

    I got the Arctis 9x headphones and these together. I had high hopes for both but ended up only liking one of the products…..Luckily for you reading this review, I liked the mouse but hated the headphones!! Here are my PROS and CONS for the mouse”

    CONS:
    -Software required to use is a little too much with it’s 100000 different ways to customize its products. Give us something easier that doesn’t over complicate to just let us game already!!!

    It’s good but had to change batteries every 2 days or so, which was kinda annoying. For me, it wasn’t very ergonomic by my hand size but in general a good mouse for 39$!

    -battery life is only a few months using two triple A batteries, even with all rgb options turned off and efficiency mode on
    -yes, steelseries engine is installed on my pc
    -purchased extension cable for wireless dongle to be closer to mouse, less signal interferance
    -mouse is frequently unresponsive after going to sleep, monitor screen saver activating, and switching mouse off to try and save battery power

    i had an easier time using a non gaming logitech wireless mouse, which included a toggle wheel for less finger movements to get to the bottom of a webpage. i was intrigued by the dpi and rgb options for this mouse at purchase. but the constant fiddling is a pain.

    light weight RGB just make sure you buy lots of AAA batteries you will need them it eats batteries at lest mine does. Got mine for Christmas and have gone thru 4 4packs so far and it is Jan 16th
