    First “gaming” keyboard I’ve bought and I’m happy with it. RGB is nice (although the default pattern is not my style), steelseries software is easy to use, and the switches feel nice.

    I love it. The lighting is amazing. You have to experience it to appreciate it, you just cant get the appreciation for it until you use it. Every keystroke is cool looking. The mechanical buttons are crisp. I recommend this keyboard. I love it!!!

    very clicks, as long as you mic doesn’t pick it up then it should be fine, but other than that it is amazing and has a cool display.

    Very nice keyboard, quite clicky which I am a huge fan of. Doesn’t feel like it takes a crazy amount of pressure to hit the keys at all. I use it for gaming in addition to everyday tasks, and I feel like it does both very well. Would recommend! The steelseries software also lets you save up to five different color settings and keybind combinations, so for different games I can have different keybinds that I can access by quickly switching which mode I’m using. It’s really nice!

    I recommend going with a better brand than SteelSeries for mechanical keyboards

    I find this to be a nice a keyboard. The wrist rest is really nice since it isn’t made out of foam it maintains its shape and is also has nice feeling rubber coating. To get the full functionality from this keyboard can be a bit trick since the instructions to the software are vague.

    Good responsive keyboard with a lot of lighting options. The only thing I wish it had, since it is a gaming keyboard, is a nub or indent on the W key so I don’t lose my WASD hand placement. Otherwise I like it a lot

    Been using the product for a while now. I’ve really liked the feel of the keys. What surprised me was how it interacted with some games. Terraria for example, the keys light up depending on your settings or the events going on. It was really interesting to see and something that I didn’t expect.

    Had this keyboard for a few months now and it’s been a good purchase for the most part. Macros were a little confusing to set up initially, but nothing too bad. Sometimes a few of the keys will squeak a bit but it’s nothing major. Good tactile feedback from the keys without being loud enough to wake up the rest of the house.

    So I wanted to wait a while to review this keyboard. Well, after some odd months, I have been using this amazing keyboard until the volume control decided to stop working, hence why I did not give it a 5 star rating. It’s very clicky and great, but the buttons will stop working eventually.

    I went to BB and tried out all the keyboards but they didn’t this one but doing research it was the one I wanted. The best Corsairs and Razers were just overpriced for what I need. The feel for Apex 5 hybrid blue to describe is what the Razer mecha membrane should have been. This is just so perfect. I hope it lasts long time. I returned the ROCCAT – Vulcan Pro Full-size PC Gaming Keyboard with Linear Optical. I was wrong to give it a good review too early. It just was not good typing experience for me now. Apex 5 typing feeling is just so amazing. The Vulcan Pro looks the prettiest in the world but was functionally bad and typing speed was worse on it. Apex 5 sped up my productivity and saves my fingers in the long run. Speed typing is what I needed without hurting my joints after working 12 hours on the PC.

    Overall a good solid quality keyboard for the money, but the software is incredibly irritating and difficult to set up and counterintuitive almost like they did it on purpose it’s so bad. I do love the keyboard though I really hope they fix the software
