    Straight forward to set up. Requires a secured wifi connection to the internet. Used a cellular hot spot since the hotel did not have secure wifi option. Option available for taking offline payments requires internet connection later to upload transactions.

    I needed a quick solution to charge credit cards to a different bank account and found this Square Terminal (it was the last one at Best Buy only, no one carried it in town).
    Once I turned it on, it was stuck on the Welcome Screen, but after a full factory reset, it started up and has been great ever since. There’s so many settings and features to chose from which is nice if you want to set it up a certain way. Setting up an account and linking it to a bank took a little more than 30 minutes, but not too hard. But over all pretty good purchase, thank you Best Buy for carrying this.

    Square terminal was relatively easy to use. We did have an issue with our initial use when we lost connection to WiFi. It would not allow us to operate it off line. Will look into why this happened.

    This is a great terminal. It connected seamlessly with my Square Business account. User friendly. Although it has the same menu as the Square app on my phone, but at least I can hand out receipts. The terminal takes dip, tap, and swipe. I recommend getting the case for it on Amazon.

    The item works VERY well. The only issue is that it drops off/and or has issues with Apple Hotspot. When I mean issues I mean it sometimes takes forever to get it back on. Some days, no issues. Very strange.
