I got this to see how it compares to the first gen JBL boombox. First off the sound is not as loud but the quality is a tad better. The worst thing is how wobbly it is standing on something higher than floor level, it has knocked over more than a few times.

My wofe hinted that she wanted a bigger bluetooth speaker. She cuttently has a small JBL and we are convinced it it posessed, it tandomly turns itself on and off. It has intermittant connection issues. This sony has been flawless and has really good sound. My wife is very pleased with it.
