Works right out the box. Only issue I had was it was a little slippery while trying to pull the earbuds out of the case. The sound and noise cancelation is great and the quality of the build fill premium. Surprisingly the call quality is not bad compared to others. I highly recommend these earbuds.

Very comfortable and they remain in my ears which can be hard to find. They work really well and I like the ability to customize the touch controls. I have three complaints though. First, the touch controls are way too sensitive. It’s very easy to accidentally turn off and on the noise cancellation. When my hair is wet, I can’t wear them since it just constantly pushes the buttons. Second, the noise cancellation is not great. There’s not a huge difference between when it is on and off. Third, the automatic “smart” noise cancellation that tries to recognize when you would want it on or off is backwards. It always turns off the noise cancellation when I’m in a noisy area, which is exactly when I need the noise cancellation more.

Coming from the Apple ecosystem i though Airpods pros were the best one could get. After using these for a month or so i still am amazed by the effectiveness of the active noise cancellation. Sound quality is incredible, bass is there, mids are there and highs are there. These are very impressive earbuds.

While initially excited about these wireless headphones, my enthusiasm waned as I struggled to decipher their intricate functionalities. The learning curve proved steeper than expected, leaving me somewhat frustrated. Additionally, the packaging, considering the premium price tag, felt disappointingly flimsy. Despite my initial desire to love these headphones, the complex setup and underwhelming packaging left me yearning for a more straightforward and robust user experience. Unfortunately I gave up and didn’t return them and went back to another well-known brand. I probably would have grown to love them a lot if I took the time to figure out all the functions but I felt headphones shouldn’t be that complicated.

A fantastic pair of earbuds that have blown every other pair I’ve tried out of the water. From the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro to the Technics AZ80, these buds outshine everything in terms of both sound quality and features. Sifting through the app (which sets up quick and easy) allows for one to toggle between ANC modes, set the modes to automatic, enable a Spotify quick play gesture directly on the earbuds, switch bluetooth codecs, toggle DSEE Extreme (lossy music upscaler), and calibrate head tracking amongst other things. The standout feature for a bass head like myself is Sony’s Clear Bass technology, which allows for a crisp boost to the bass without a loss of volume or fidelity across the higher frequencies. My only gripe would be the battery life of the case, but as long as one charges regularly, this shouldn’t be an issue. Highly recommend this pair to anyone on the fence about trying them.

I personally dont find these a steep up from the xm4. However, not a downgrade either. My xm4 was starting to not hold a full charge, and i needed a new pair. The Sony music app held my settings, so setup was easy. Om not a fan of 360 audio or any of that so eq is all i need to get set up personally .the pass through voice festure is a grest piece of tech and does a grest job telling voices from noise in most environments.

I really liked the fit on these earbuds. They did not feel like they were heavy enough to fall off like the last model. Really nice color options as well. Noice canceling was top notch as well as the transparency feature. Feels light enough to forget its even in my ear.

Will not be total noise cancelling but very good earbud nonetheless. Like the app to set up the pods and control sound settings. Adaptive sound control is great as well and will let ambient noises around you in. When I’m on a moving vehicle and resting my head agains the vehicle frame all noise comes in through the earbuds, think the vibrations disrupts the adaptive sound control

Got them for Christmas I really liked the sound quality and equalizer I’d say these sounded better than my AirPod pros. The battery life on both the buds and case are amazing they would last me up to 3 days before I would get a low case charge notification. The Sony headphone app was pretty good over all little confusing at first but easy to manage once I learned how to use it.
Only downside i had was the constant need to have to readjust and push them back in for a good seal especially during working out, with pressure they push out pretty easy compared to my AirPod pros. Overall I would still recommend these to anyone any day!

There’s a lot of great technology built into these ear buds. Tap one to start and stop. Tap the other to switch from noise canceling to ambient sound. Wonderful sound quality and decent noise canceling. Not as good as over the ear headphones but good for earbuds. Main complaint is they don’t stay in your ears very well.

The sound quality is pristine, the switch between ambient sound and noise canceling is very noticeable and when you go into noise canceling its feel as if you are in a void, these lasted me on meduim volume with ambient sound on for about 6 and a half hours while i was at work, they are very comfortable doesnt feel heavy after a while it barely feels as if anything is in your ear and they fit snug and dont even hint at falling out, would recommend these to anyone, though i will say these are on the pricer side but well worth the money

I’m getting right to the point, these buds are hands down best sounding buds I’ve used to date. I own XM4 & Apple AirPod Pros ( gen 2) they’re good , but these XM5’s are @ another whole level.. Sound, ANC, fit, function all Awesome. App is easy to use, customize & there are a bunch of options to get these XM5 to your liken. I used stock foams that came on Bud with no issue what so ever. Yes a little more expensive, but you get what you’re paying for!
