So far this Sony Blu-ray player works great for DVD’s and Blu-ray discs. No problems with this function, which was my reason for purchasing. The remote control is rather small, but works fine. The box claims it has “various streaming services.” I find them to be very limited. Netflix, VUDU, Pandora, and YouTube function. The other ones listed seem to be unavailable. I checked for updates to the system but there are none at this time. ( It does not replace the ROKU.) If you are purchasing it only to play your discs, it is great. Clear, sharp picture with good color.
