    This unit replaced my 2012 Bose Cinemate II system. It pairs great with the HT-A7000 sound bar and extends low frequency ranges beyond what the sound bar can achieve. By no means will it shake the paint off your drywall but it’s also not intended as a high-end audiophile sub. Movies have added punch and rumble in the low frequencies but struggles to remain efficient below 50hz which is due to its smaller cone size. But, again this isn’t a high end sub so you get what you pay for and I’m plenty happy with it as my family room/movie sound system.

    Capable of very low and accurate bass reproduction. I like action movies, this sub paired with the HTA5000 and 7000 really impressed me.

    Paired this with my HT-a7000 sound bar and RS5 surround speakers. This sub is a beast. I have it set to less than half the max output and it sounds great. If I didnt live in a townhouse with shared walls I’d probably have it cranked up higher. Its a little pricey, i got a really good deal on it when bundled with my whole system though. If you can get it at a discount, donit. You wont be disappointed with its performance!

    When you look up reviews for this sub, people talk about the “Frequency range” of this sub, and that it doesn’t sound loud. Well, I can tell you for both music and movies it’s perfect. I did notice that it needs some break in time. It will get louder with time.

    Live this wireless sub. It sounds nice but put it near a traditional wood stud wall and floor. I put it on a concrete floor near a wall of windows and it didn’t have a strong of impact as i desire.

    I got it in a package on a sale for 399. Well worth it.

    But it works so well that i bought 2 of them. For different rooms and systems(don’t think you can put 2 on the same system).

    bought the sony sound bar first and sounded great.. added base reflex later and WOW !! what a difference , especially watching movies.. Remember folks, this base speaker produces any and all Base related sounds whether they be voice , music, or sound effects… If you don’t hear them it’s because the sound engineer for the movie you are watching DID NOT put those base related sounds in the sound track for the movie you are watching! This speaker really does a great job of pushing the dialogue out front where you can hear it… I would definitely recommend to a friend…
