    Okay this is going to be a really honest review. I live in a fairly large apartment with 15 foot ceilings, I have a X93L, a HT-A7000, SW3 Subwoofer, and decided to complete the collection with this.

    This speakers are quite quiet when not listening to Dolby Atmos items such as movies or music. I’ve used these for about a month now and honestly I could’ve done without them.

    When they are good, they are good. Example would be when watching a movie that supports Dolby Atmos or listening to music through Apple Music and it supports Dolby Atmos. They help create that surrounding sound, but they’re more subtle. You honestly forget that you have them most of the time.

    If you are on the fence with these speakers, I highly suggest not grabbing them unless you are using Dolby Atmos on a daily or frequent enough that this would make an impact.

    Even when gaming on my PS5, these have just been okay. I’ve used it for a variety of games and yeah they’re good, but are they worth the price? No.

    If they were half off the original price and you got the warranty included and you had the money, sure, but yeah I wouldn’t throw the money at these.

    I was on the fence with buying these but they add another layer to my TV/Movie watching experience. Paired with the soundbar and sub, you feel fully immersed in the media you’re watching. They can be on the lighter side but we have these set up pretty close to where we sit.

    I’ve used these hulking pieces of speaker just over a month now. I use with Sony ht7000.

    Honestly I’m not blown away for the price. I feel like for the size these things are, the sound output doesn’t match up for me. I’ve tried a bunch of different settings in hopes of making them sound more substantial, but haven’t quite found the trick yet.

    These speakers really accomplish the Sony HT-a7000 Dolby Atmos effects. They have a clean sound and the design is fantastic. Any Atmos effects that include rain or scenes shot under water are very impressive.
    I keep mine plugged in so I can’t weigh in on battery life.,

    So, I have the soundbar Ht-A5000 and the subwoofer. I though i needed these but after setting them up, I noticed that not all movies play loud enough on these speakers. Some movies do play loudly enough while other movies are wisper quite with the volume level at max. But i have decided to keep them as because it could be the format that the movies were recorded in and i just got to find the right settings.

    Super easy to set up. Up firing speakers make a world of difference and are amazing. High quality sound. Connection with hta-5000 is automatic and the 360 mapping feature works great. You will have a power wire running to it to charge or if you mount them.

    Great addition to the A5000 soundbar.
    I enjoy movies in Atmos or DTS, not every movie uses the full potential but overall a great addition. The built in batteires are super, and i love how if you have the speakers plugged in they power on and off automatically when the main soundbar turn on or off.

    The Sony Rs5 speakers are a great addition to my Sony Sound bar. Best to bring up the values to 5.0 or to max at 6.0 to get best sound from them. When Dolby or Dolby Atmos is at play, they sound fantastic

    Bought these bundled with the Sony HT-a7000 bar and SW5 subwoofer. These speakers are amazing. They sound great and look great. I have them on speaker stands off to the side for day to day use. When I want to watch a movie with the fam I unplug them (these are true wireless speakers with built in batteries) and move them into prime position right behind us and with a simple push of the optimize button on top them it reoptimizes to their new position. The batteries last up to 10hrs on a full charge and have battery indicator lights so you never need to worry about the battery dying in the middle of a movie. They are expensive but I believe you get a premium product with features you won’t find anywhere else. I got them at a discount when bundled. If you can manage that, it’s a no brainer in my opinion.

    If you have the money and a compatible system… these rear surrounds L/R will blow uou away will the umph and boom and surround power up/down/around/forward! Highly recomend

    I like the design and technology of this speaker but i wish it kicked in a little more. When i watch sports i don’t near much audio from it. I also crank movies way up which is fun but i wish it could just play excessively louder with the Hta5000 or Hta7000 at a lower volume level.

    I got in a package deal with a sub and 5000 soundbar for 399. It’s a decent value.

    I’ve tweaked in the settings but maybe i need to more.

    I love Sony products. They can be expensive, but I love their style and functionality. These did not disappoint. I have an A5000 soundbar with the SW5 sub… these rear speakers were a great addition and create an awesome surround sound effect.

    Perfect addition to an already amazing sound system (A7000) paired with the SW5 Subwoofer. Having replaced my 7 year old 5.1 LG Dolby soundbar recently with this setup from Sony, I can honestly say I am blown away. Having a Sony OLED already, this was a fantastic system to pair it with. For my room setup I wanted to stay with a soundbar and the 990Q was the closest competitor, I like to stay away from Samsung with very poor prior experiences. Bottom line, this system paired with these rear speakers is amazing.
