    Decent sound, only when you hit the power up switch, so you better hope you have new batteries. Also, a very uncomfortable fit. Lots of pressure on the top of my head. I get a headache wearing these.

    Did not like these headphones at all. Sounded like a Five dollar pair of headsets. Spend a little more and stay clear of these headsets.

    If you are going to purchase them for outside sound deadening, you might want to pass on these and spend more money on another set of earphones.

    These Special Sony headphones are excellent in performing exactly what they are designed for. They are priced appropriately and work perfectly in all of the airplane audio systems. The headphones are clear and deliver a good range of audio from high notes to full bass. I am very pleased with my purchase and find them comfortable and lightweight for long periods of listening for movies, games, or whatever. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality sound at a very reasonable cost.

    Used the Sony Noise Canceling Wired On-Ear Headphones on a recent flight to SFO with a connection thru ORD and return. Total flight time for the round trip must be around 15 hours or so. Headphone worked great and I did not have to change the AAA battery.

    A great value. I thought I’d have to spend a couple hundred dollars for noise-cancelling headphones, but these $5o ones work just fine.

    It eliminates the loud background airplane engine hum constantly heard while flying. While it doesn’t have an independent control for volume on the headphones it smoothly syncs with the volume control of whatever device it’s plugged into. Definitely worth the price.

    These “noise canceling” headphones are kind of a joke. The battery powered cancelation feature is just super soft white feedback noise or just makes music louder. The ear pieces that do offer some cancelation are too small even for a child and put pressure on your ears. Seriously start to hurt after half an hour.

    Trash !!!! Very disapointed in Sony The bass goes out then I have to turn it off with the switch (power button) then turn it back on then the bass comes back but short lived …the bass is there longer sometimes but eventually goes away again and music sounds like crap…

    bought these to us at work when on a TEAMS call. Noise cancelling is next to nil. Cord could be a couple feet longer. Not as long as my old Sony plain headphones. Probably would not purchase again because the increase in value is the noice cancellation and I fly a lot and do not benefit much from them.

    I bought these for my son to use at school when they do writing and reading on their chromebooks. The ear pads are a little small – they’ll sit on your ears, not around your ears, but they were cheap and work for the intended application.

    I’ve had these for two years now, and they do exactly what they advertise. I primarily bought them for a plane trip to Chicago, but they’ve also gone to Hawaii, Washington, and New Hampshirite. Recommended, just keep an eye on the battery.

    Had to emergency purchase these for a DJ gig (outdoors).
    Not the loudest but it can do the job. I’m not so sure if it can work as well for a louder environment (school gym, club). I think it will do fine in a small banquet setting.

    Noise cancelling makes a slight difference but not a game changer.

    Pretty comfortable.

    This was the 3rd attempt at getting my son a set of headphones he liked for Christmas; these were the winner. The cushion at the top doesn’t have a layer that will deteriorate and crumble and the cushion on the ears is perfect—in his words “my ears won’t sweat”..
