    The product is good but not great. It uses RF signal and not bluetooth. It is not 100% wireless as you need to connect the base from the audio of you tv or computer.

    Works very well. Sound Is very good. I hooked them up to my cable box as my Samsung TV did not have the red and white inputs. Fit is good as well. Perfect for the bedroom TV.

    The Sony Refurbished Wireless Headphones are perfect when cords are a nuisance! These headphones are comfortable and perfect while I am using my computer and do not want to disturb anyone while gaming or listening to a song or watching a movie! The charge is great and the volume controls are right on the headphones. I have not utilized all the features yet, but am very satisfied with my purchase!

    These headphones have excellent sound with great comfort. They have their own transmitter base which also re-charges them. It allows two people to watch the same program on tv without bothering the rest of the household and pets with loud noise.

    I bought these refurbished and they looked like new. Got a great deal and saved some money. The sound is crisp. The exception with RF headphones is that you can’t be near any other electronics or else you will hear a clacking and white noise because of the interception of the signal between the tv and the headphones. I like them because you can add another pair to the tv. Great quality and comfortable.

    This is the most disgraceful, misleading, waste of time purchase have made in quite some time. Firstly, perhaps the Geek Squad could use that geekiness to confirm all the components were in the box (neither of the cables connecting device to TV were in box; luckily I have a bunch of cables all over the house that work for any emergency!). No instructions, but that’s easy fix online.

    Biggest issue – they are awful Not the sound quality, but the little static noise that comes on every time something on the TV hits a high frequency/tone. Like a fraction of second of a vinyl record scratching. Disaster of a product, or let’s say of Geek Squad and Best Buy selling something that is horrible on so many levels.

    Haven’t used them. I mistakenly identified these for Bluetooth. They need a receiver which is big and clunky.

    I took a chance in purchasing a refurbished item. But really wanted the Sony headphones. Didn’t want to pay slot of it. Paired up perfect with my vizio tv and works great. I can listen to my movies without disturbing others. It has been over a year and I have had no problems with the headphones.

    I had an older version of these headphones, and they gave many years of good, comfortable service. Finally, the battery deteriorated so static increased, and the ear cushions began to fall apart. I bought the current item as a replacement.

    On the plus side, the new headphones had very little static. Additionally, my hat size is small, and these could be made slightly tighter than the previous ones, so they fit my head slightly better. And… well, that’s it for pluses.

    Comparing to my old Sony set, these headphones were not nearly as comfortable. The ear cushions are both stiffer and thinner. The volume control was different, but just as hard to manipulate as before.

    And finally, the kicker. I purchased these 8 months ago, and they are completely dead. They started simply not turning on when I flipped the switch. Sometimes I switch it a few times, and they would come on. Other times, I popped them back on the charging stand (where they always stayed), and after a little while, I could turn them on. Eventually, they just won’t come on at all – and I am done with them.

    I won’t buy this product again, and you shouldn’t either. I don’t buy extended warranty programs, because I believe it’s up to the manufacturer to make quality products – and if they don’t, you don’t buy the products any more. I am therefore moving on to other choices.

    I would not give a 1 star had there been an option for “0 stars”. Not a reliable brand at all. I had a different model of Sony headphones , and it broke by the hinge. Reached out to both US and Japan headquarters about the issue. Received a reply email stating that the Sony engineers agree that there is a defect with the product, but they cannot exchange it because it was out of warranty. If a product has a defect, and company admits it, then why does not matter what the purchase date it. Anyway I highly recommend to stay away from sony headphones in general.

    These headphones are one of the best purchases I have made in terms of quality and value. Sometimes the initial wireless connection takes a while to get established, but once it “connects” it stays on solid.

    I thought the item was a headset but it’s compatible with TV. If you are looking for a personal space and want to enjot a game while your kids are making noises and your wife started a mixer, then I recommend this product.
