    I spent a month borrow different lenses before I settled on this one. It is similar to the 18-105 for the 6000 series. I really like and I am happy to have found this lens

    Best all around lens I’ve used. Photo or video work. This thing is so handy for almost every situation. Depends who you are but I do everything and this thing is so nice I never used any other lenses just because this thing did it all. Love it it’s become my all time favorite

    I bought this lens for a travel video project and it was the perfect focal length! I used to think I had to shoot at the widest aperture but I didn’t feel like I was losing out with the f/4. Since I was using a Sony a7s3 the low light capabilities were golden.

    This is a great lens, fast focus and sharp photos with great color. Switched over to the Sony A7RivA from a Nikon Z7ii. Glad I did. Very happy – and felt a huge sense of relief now that I’m realizing great photos again – with Sony’s 24-105mm lens and the attending Sony A7RivA camera. Looking forward to acquiring a couple more Sony lenses.

    Fast, sharp lens for Sony A7 or A6300. A great lens with Sony’s superfast auto focus, sharp without hunting for focus. Solid build. A bit heavy but provides good balance for my A6300. Great for travel because with the zoom range you can cover most situations.

    I bought this 24-105 f4 for a 4th time and all are in use as “main” lens in run and gun video production unit. Tested it and saw the sharpness and said wow. Focal length covers most of our needs. I also use a 16-35 f4. And, have a couple of 70-200mm 2.8’s that are amazing.

    Very beautiful lense, gives a nice amount of ranges and is sharp the whole way through although at 105 I did notice a slight blur on the corners but nothing too obvious. You really have to pixel peep to find anything wrong with this lense IMO. The lense is very high quality and made with premium materials, the downside to this is that its metal body is quite heavy. I found myself not wanting to hold my camera in my hands as often because of the weight and often returned it to my bag because of wrist pain causing me to miss some shots. In the end it’s a great lense but to keep it on all the time for street photography it was a bit heavy for me so I’m looking into other options. I would recommend it though, just keep the weight in mind.

    This is my primary game lens for when I film basketball games. I love this lens because it covers a good amount of range with a constant aperture, plus the steady shot. A great lens in my opinion.

    With its 24mm setting, you can get great wide shots groups of people at a party or of landscape when outdoors. With the 105mm setting, you can zoom in for terrific close-up portraits or focus on birds, animals at fauna out in the wild. Auto focus is quick. Images are sharp.
