    I’ve purchased this lens on three separate occasions, and would purchase it again and again. For many years, I’ve always come back to it because for the price, you get exceptional results, when compared to much more expensive lenses. If you’re on the fence, and not quite sure if you should buy it.. do so before they’re gone! You’ll be glad you did!

    Lens is great i shoot with a 40mm manual voighlander and wanted some good sony autofocus on my a7r4 and this lens does not disappoint plus the low light is great.
    If youre on the fence about the lens dont hesitate just grab it.

    Great lens for the price. I’m not a professional, but this takes solid portraits and helps with low light shots because of the large aperture. Only downside is it’s a fixed focal length, meaning you can’t zoom, so you have to physically move around to get the ideal shot. I use this on a Sony A6000.

    I bought this lens with a Sony a7 III mirrorless camera. That came with a Sony FE 28-70 mm F3.5-5.6 OSS kit lens. Let me tell you, that kit lens is NOTHING compared to this 50mm f/1.8 lens. Obviously, there is some zoom in that kit lens, but it does not take sharp pictures like this little guy does. Super crisp and detailed shots! You will not regret buying this lens! It takes great landscape shots as well as superb portraits! The bokeh is really nice. Highly recommended! And especially for the price. DO IT! BUY IT!

    When used in manuel mode, this is one of the easiest to focus lenses I’ve ever used! I nail the focus every time within seconds. It renders colors beautifully, has lots of contrast, and is incredibly sharp. It works really well in low light conditions. However, the bokah is not perfectly circular, and is a little harsh. If youre hoping for that dreamy nighttime portrait look, this may not be the lens for you. Otherwise, its an amazing all-around lens, and really can’t be bested for the price. Take this over any kit zoom lens every time! Probably one of the best focal lengths for beginners too.

    For the price, it is an outstanding value. I got it for 200 bucks on Black Friday, and it is by far the best impulse purchase I’ve ever bought. The autofocus is loud, and not the best I’ve seen. But the quality is top notch. The photos that this thing takes are outstanding.
