I really enjoy using this lens , it is sharp enough for the price. I was going to buy the 35mm f/2.8 Carl Zeiss but i can’t really see a lot of difference in picture quality. If you get your settings right this works very well.

This lens is great for travel. It is fairly compact and light zoom lens that yields excellent photos. The range works well for travel giving you a 42mm to 105mm equivalent on the A6000 or any Sony e-mount with a crop sensor. Its easy to carry around all day.

I purchased the Sony a7iii and it came with this lens. For a kit lens this really surpirsed me. Once you get to know how to work the Sony a7iii camera, you can take some pretty nice and sharp pictures. I even did a decent Macro picture with this lens and edited in Lightroom. I would recommend this as your first lens before you spend hundreds or thousands on a PRO lens.

Lens was not as sharp as I wanted. Also the range is limited to only 35-70mm. For this tiny range it is better to use a 50mm prime lens for much nicer and more creative photos
